Contest Outline
exclaim Simply design/put together a gaia avatar using tektek.
exclaim Humanoid avatars are preferred, and they could be male or female. (The gender of the design does not have to be obvious). Mermaids are allowed, but no centaurs.
exclaim You may use the design of your existing avatar(s) if you wish.
exclaim You may not use other people's avatars/designs.
exclaim Only one figure is allowed per entry, therefore no 'couples' entries are allowed. (The exception to this is if you used items that give you the picture of a another humanoid figure beside you. ie) The prince from 'The Enchanted Book', Alruna's figure from 'Alruna's Rose'. Etc...)
exclaim You are allowed to include as many pets and creatures as you'd like in your entry.
exclaim Prizes will be given to the 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, One People's Choice Award (based on votes), and 5 Honourable Mentions.
exclaim There is no need to include an items list for your designs.
Who Could Enter?
exclaim Anyone is allowed to enter.
exclaim You may not enter this contest under multiple accounts.
Number of Entries
exclaim Each person is allowed to submit a maximum of 5 designs.
How to Submit Entries
exclaim Once you have your designs done (maximum of 5), please send me a PM titled 'Avatar Design Contest', with links to your entries.
exclaim Once you have PM-ed me, you may not change your mind regarding the designs you have submitted. So think carefully before you do ^-^
exclaim You are allowed to send one PM at a time if you want, but it's preferrable that you send them all in one PM, so that I won't have a kazillion PMs XD
exclaim Sending one PM at a time does not put you at a disadvantage to winning the contest nor does sending one PM containing 4 designs improve your chances of winning.
Prizes List
exclaim Prize A: One CG chibi
exclaim Prize B: Six sketches (This could be a mix of 'couples' sketches + single character sketches. A 'couples' sketch would count as TWO characters.)
exclaim Prize C: Twelve sketches (Same as above)
exclaim Prize D: 100K gold.
exclaim Please keep in mind that I will not draw characters/OCs/avatars with overly skimpy outfits or suggestive nature/poses)
How are Prizes awarded?
exclaim 1st Place Winner: Gets first choice in choosing one prize from the Prizes List.
exclaim 2nd Place Winner: Once 1st Place Winner has chosen his/her prize, 2nd Place Winner picks from the remaining three prizes.
exclaim 3rd Place Winner: Once 2nd Place Winner has chosen his/her prize, 3rd Place Winner picks from the remaining two prizes.
exclaim Winner of People's Choice Award: Same as 1st Place Winner.
exclaim Honourable Mentions will be awarded Two Free Single Character Sketches (or One Free 'couples' sketch).
exclaim Prizes are awarded as they are listed. No prizes will be converted to gold or items, except for prize D.
exclaim This contest is not affiliated with RL cash values. ie) You won't be paying or receiving real life money rofl
Judging
exclaim I will be judging the entries and award the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
exclaim The People's Choice Award is determined by votes via a poll. Only people who have not won 1st, 2nd or 3rd places will be elligible.
exclaim There will be no ties. In case of a tie in the People's Choice Award, a new poll will be made for the tying entries.
exclaim You may only win once.
exclaim No bribes will be accepted in my decision of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Votes concerning the People's Choice Award is out of my control sweatdrop
Deadline
exclaim The contest will officially end 2 weeks after 40 participants have PM-ed me their contest entry(s). Therefore, the deadline has not been set yet.
exclaim Once the above has occurred, I will post the absolute date of the deadline. I will allow 1 grace day (24 hours) for late entries as well as to factor in different time zones.
ie) If the contest hypothetically ended on Monday March 30, you can still PM me your entry(s) on April 1st, but nothing after that.
