Background

In the dawn of time, a civilization would begin and advance to greatness, only to be destroyed. I could say it is set in a specific point in time – although, no one can say for sure when the world began... there is evidence of when people began to walk the earth, when they started to form and from who knows what. Some tales are about being formed by gods out of clay, while other appeared with the power of a god. Either way, they were and still are here, and they had been here for a long time. However--it is often debated on whether certain things existed or not for they are to grand to comprehend. tales have been told of kingdoms that were lost, punished by the gods for the men and their sin of forbidden love.Some of the men that had survived retreated to an isolated area on a mysterious island. However, their new settlement was in the territory of unknown habitants, creatures. The creatures saw this as a challenge, the humans invading their island causing a war to come upon them.

Present Day

Forcing some of the unknown creature, habitants, further into the woods upon the arrival of the humans while the others remained on guard ready to attack at any moment. Some creature chose to study the humans from a distance, to come closer while others remain on their guard. With the span of time as some work together to study the humans a few began to show love for one another and forbidden love for the humans. While the rest stayed with their mindset in the past always ready to attack, always ready for war.

After being stranded the humans began to lean/ depend on one another developing a close knit unit. Even began to advance over time and so did the unknown creatures that have them on their guard, always ready for the slightest thing to happen. Like the creature the humans as well began to show love for one another and even forbidden love for the creatures. In this view, humans and maybe even the unknown could possibly form a trust... an idea that they could maybe open-minded and possibly come out of hiding and trust the humans again.

He climbs up the tree close to the top where there was a clear parting in the branches. Laying down on the branch looking up seeing a soldier watching the humans out in the clearing through the branches. Following his gaze he looks out into the clearing watching the humans setting and building homes from the freshly cut down trees. The humans soldiers circled their new ground for their settlement while the rest of the men worked on building homes. Suddenly, the sound of what appeared to be a snapping twig echoed through the air. He and the soldier sat up and scooted backwards until their backs were pressed up against the trunk of the tree as the human soldier looked in their direction trying to find the source of the sound as they drew their weapons. Walking towards east side edge of the bush which happen to be in their direction, as they neared another sound echoed through the forest. The soldier threw his sword into the bush and stopped as it landed in the body of a someone or something hiding in the bush.

He had forgotten how long now it's been since he was on this island. Forever, maybe. A person
could only remember for so long and for this spirit, it has been plenty long enough. He was usually
found alone as it was, so it wasn't like he had much to remember; he didn't need to remember
what he ate for dinner, the name of the stranger on the side of the path, when the last time it was
that someone called his name. Honestly, there were times he even forgot that he had a name.
Mother Nature. That's what some of them called him, despite the fact he was very much a man.
Because of his spiritual state though, nature was calm around him. Animals were attracted to
him, moths and butterflies were constantly surrounding him for reasons unknown. His fingers had
a gentle touch and his eyes were soft and caring, a faded blue color. Like an old photo left out
in the sun for far too long. His skin was pale. No, it was white. Almost cold to the touch even.
His hair was still dark, long and framing his face, which, with the white skin, made those almost
transparent blue eyes stand out even more. He was usually shirtless, dressed in just a pair of
leather pants someone had once left on shore. Found by the water or in the meadows, where
ever was the most peaceful at that moment.

Right now, Mitsuhide was walking slowly along the shore line, his gaze out in front as the
water licked at his boots. Hands moved side to side slowly with each step, a light hum leaving
his throat as a small gray moth rested on his shoulder, wings lightly fluttering from time to time.
It was quiet out, not much going on. Mitsuhide kind of liked it like that though. Too much noise
could distress him and spirits didn't function well under stress.

His ear twitch sensing sounds coming from a distance as his tail waved from side to side. As the human soldier turned the other way for a quick second he climbed down from the tree in route of the sound he heard. He made a low purring sound to quiet to be heard by humans, he was contacting his tribe the Hitachi letting them now that there was an attack and a possible creature was killed. A battle cry was sent back in reply as he climbed to the top of a hill to look out at the opposite edge of the woods looking out at the beach. He sniffs the air as he tries to pick up a scent. Laying low on the rock he watches as this mysterious being walks along the beach while moths surround him with every stop he takes. He tilts his head in curious wonder, then he stretches before climbing down the hill creeping closer to this mysterious creature.
