4. I am happy to accept criticisms about my art, but as this is a shop, and not a rating thread, I would prefer that you kept rude comments to yourself.

5. NO Dragcave. Rule 3 covers this, but it just needed to be reiterated.

6. If you are ordering art, you MUST CONFIRM THE TRADE with your payment in it BEFORE I will start the art. I have had past problems with scammers or people who just left Gaia without paying. Makes me very angry.

7. PLEASE READ THE FAQ before asking any questions.

I do not feel the need to have a blacklist at this point. Do not make me start one.

15/12/08: Naming contest was a bit of a flop. I didn't really like any of the names enough to make it my shop name. However, I will award the prize to the person who proposed the most original and funny names.

11/12/08: Taltal111 won the bumping contest! =D

3/12/08: I may or may not have taken a day out to do an entry for the Christmas stocking item contest. I plan to do more, but not 'til I finish the current commission. You can see my entry [here]. Check it out!

Q: Why is your thread in the Chatterbox?
A: Because this is where I live, have previously got all my business and would just prefer to be.

Q: Why do I have to send the trade before you start the art?
A: I need to confirm you actually have the amount of gold you need to pay, and ensure that it doesn't go anywhere while I'm drawing. I expect payment immediately (the next time you log in) for the art. I will only be sending samples until you pay the full amount.

Q: What if I don't like the art D: ?
A: NO REFUNDS. You MUST PAY even if you don't like that art. I will only be drawing what my samples show or what you specify, so if you don't like it then you shouldn't have bought from me.

Q: I would like to buy something like the banner in your signature/the banners in your front page posts. How do I go about this?
A: I don't have great skill in banners, but if you like my style I can do them. For things such as this you will need to give me very specific directions. Fill out a normal order form, but for "type" put "banner" and in the "extras" specify what you wish to use it for, text you wish to be on it etc. The cots of these things will vary, but it is best if you post the order so I can see exactly what you want and give you a price. If the banners include avatars or human figures in general, they will cost about the equivalent of my normal art.

Q: Your art sucks, I've seen better for 20k.
A: That isn't a question, but alright. I price my art according to advice I've received from some very good artists, and also how much I feel my effort is worth.

Q: Will you click my eggs?
A: GTFO.

O HAY THUR, my name is -- not important. I have been drawing manga since I was about 14, and I just had my 18th birthday. In the last few years I've been so busy with school that I haven't had much time to practice or to do original characters, but I've had a bit of time to do some avatar art. This got a lot easier when I bought my graphics tablet a while ago. I have been a member of Gaia since mid '04 and have spent most of my time in the CB.

Apart from drawing, I also enjoy various music, watch a lot of T.V., sleep too much and have drunk so much caffeine that I've become immune to it. I enjoy random comments, but I do not accept random friend requests.

I have been doing avatar art for a long time though, so I'll post a lot of my old art, so you can see how I began. I started with a scanner, then with a mouse, before I finally got my tablet.
