On Gaia, alot of adults feel like they have to hide their age. Feeling old. So it's kind of good to let them know it's ok to be a member of Gaia. Thats one of the reasons I made this thread.

OK, so we're all the "older" set of Gaia... So what anime brought us into the hobby.

You're gonna kill me over mine, Lensman by Streamline pictures. I saw it on the Sci-Fi cannel as a kid. I could not get over it! I met a few friends and they had anime like "Devil Hunter Yohko" and "Ninja Scroll"

I was hooked, line and sinker.

Every month I would go out for the latest subtitled gem I wanted after I had saved enough of my allowance.

I am so happy that the DVD was invented... I really really am.

Oh, and I'm happy that Otakon is here in my backyard (practically)
