Men and women are biologically and socially dissimilar, and being simply fair and/or equal isn't really the best option for everyone.

Men don't physically bear children, for one. The physical and social parameters of that, alone, are staggering.

Even just on the social/economic side, the work environment favors single men with limited family ties, not married women or single mothers. The closer you are to a single man, the better job security you have. The closer you are to a married woman or single mother, the worse it gets.
