Hiya Everyone!

First, I'd like to say that this charity was great, in my opinion, and has given away around 80,000 gold in gold and items. I really appreciate all who have been here since the beginning and stayed along the way. I'm glad I was able to help as many as I did and I have no regrets whatsoever about this charity except for the fact that I have to give it up.

If there are any who would like to take over this charity, I would be glad to work out an agreement with anyone who I can trust to be dedicated to such a thread as well as giving back to the gaian community. PM me if you have any interest.

My reasons for closing up, however, are because I have recently gotten a job and am having less and less time to spend on gaia as well as less time to earn the gold necessary to run this charity. I apologize to any who this inconveniences, that is not my intent. But, it's been a great little while here and I am in need to give it up. Any who would like to take over, once again, feel free to PM me.

First of all, there are certain requirements an applicant must be able to meet before you are able to apply for a certain application. There are three different applications and each has its own set of requirements. The submitted information will be gone over and checked to make sure that it's legit. For example: If you tell me that you have a quest thread, and you do not, you will be banned from the charity, instantly blacklisted, and will not recieve any form of a donation. The following applications should be filled out and posted in the thread. If you'd like, you may PM them to me as well, but they must be posted somewhere in the forums. Lastly, you must include the word "wave" somewhere in your application.

APPLICATIONS:

There is an application to fill out if you are new to gaia, and have been here for no longer than a month at the time you submit your application. This form of donation qualifies you to get some extra gold or items to help you in starting out your gaian character.

MAKING A NEW ACCOUNT TO GET ANOTHER DONATION DOES NOT COUNT! If I find out you have done this, it counts as false information and you will be banned, blacklisted, and will not[ recieve a donation of any form.

The other application is for those gaians who are questing, and have been here long enough to know how to make gold, yet could use a little help reaching their goals! You must have an avtive quest thread, yet there is no significant amount of pages it must contain. It must look legitimate so that I know it was not made simply to become eligible for a donation. You must also have been an active member on gaia for at least three months!

Next is the application for charities. -new! A charity who wishes to apply for a dontaion must, well, obviously have a charity, the promise to tart one does not count as actually having one. I don't care how long the charity has been around, or even if it's just starting out! That's pretty much it!

Lastly, I've decided, upon seeing the amount of applicants I've had who do not have a quest thread, to make a donation section for them too! You do, however, have to be questing and have some progress towarsd the quested item.

It would look a lot better if all applicants had some experiene posting in the forums! hint hint

To get a donation, there are a few obligations you must take on. First of all, you must post in this thread at least once every day. If you miss a day, post extra on another day, but donations will not be given to those of you who apply, yet do nothing to show me that you really want one, and deserve to recieve one. Another obligation you have is to post at least 5 times in the other applicants thread. It doesn't have to be on the same day, just at some point before the 'date' comes. This idea comes from the Wish Fairy Charity although theirs is a lot more... well, better smile


I decided to include it myself because I believe it is very important for fellow questers to aide one another in their quests. You'd love to recieve help, so why not give it to someone else as well!


Now, the 'date' is the day I will choose at least one applicant from each category to give a donation too. There could be more than one, it all depends on who I believe is worthy. You will remain on the applicants list until I give you a donation. Everyone gets a donation just most likely not at the same time! You will all have the chance to recieve one! So long as you refill out the application, anyone may apply more than once at least a month after recieving a donation.


The 'date' will be posted here after I've approved 5 applications!

First of all I would like to remind everyone that applying for a donation is a responsibility! The rules simply state that you must post in this thread and stay somewhat active. No, I'm not asking you to devote all of your online time to this particular place, but show up every once in a while! If there are other applicants listed in the quest thread section, bump, chat, leace a post or two there every now and then to support fellow questers. It's the right thing to do!

I'm also noticing that no one has been posting the "secret word" in their applications anymore. That is a requirement. I have been lenient, thinking it was only happening every once in a while, however, it is happening too much. Please remember what you have all applied for!

As for ADVERTISEMENTS, it's simple. PM just post a link to your shop as well as any graphic you'd like linked to it and the name of your shop, as well as your own name. See post 14 for an example of how the outcome will be.
