Do you use Windows 7 & Firefox? What I have to do is mouse over to the orange Firefox button on the top left corner and find the button, "Add-ons"
I click on it and a new tab forms, where there's a list of Add-ons I have. I find AdBlock, and click the "disable" button beside it. Then you'll have to restart Firefox(but all you tabs and stuff will be resumed, unless you're playing a Flash game or something)
Aaand there you go! Go through the same procedure to re-enable it. C:
