Welcome to Gaia! ::

Truthful Seeker

oooh... Thanksgiving.... I'm not even sure WHAT my family is gonna do for the holidays....

and I know what you mean. Its weird seeing my cousins nowadays even though we were all buddy buddy when we were little XD

...... I have yet to do the zOMG event. I should since I love these events so much XD
Well yesterday they made jack impossible to find. So after playing zomg for 6 hours two days running I gave up on my Jack hunt.
Oh and I bought 25% of my wishlist, and still have some gift money for the upcoming seasons holidays.

I do enjoy killing pumpkin fluffs to say the least XD

ooh, I do like 8D
@ BKLove - Luck! and I bet! but I did get enough money to buy most my wish list, so I shouldn't complain.

@ Gaz - Nice! Very Holiday appropriate! With flavor that can work year round too! Color me impressed!

@ Everyon -- Did I ever tell you guys I was buying Snitches last year? when they were worth 1-5 gold? Well I just sold 5, so now I only have 50 left... biggrin and they're going up in price! Much much higher than 1-5!

Awesome! You'll be rich in no time. XD
I made the mistake of going to the library yesterday, and have been reading all day. I went to work and the bank, but the rest of the day was spent reading... And I have a few things to say.

1- Runaways is the best comic ever, every time I decide to pick up a copy of whatever's new, I end up spending hours on the computer working on my own writing. And as it is a serial with differrent writers I want to one day to write for it. Two of it's 4 writers are quite famous. one wrote Y the Last man, and the other Wrote Serenity, and Firefly.
Time to work on my Writers resume. razz

2- Amelia Rules is one of the best books for girls, that guys can enjoy. It is a lot like Calvin and Hobbes but for girls. I am currently getting all kinds of complements from my aunt for finding something her dyslexic children will actually sit down, and read, and enjoy.

3- The Thief is the best young adult book ever written. Especially good for young boys who like to cause trouble, the story starts where the young boy tells the world that he can still anything. Then on a bet for like 20 copper, says he can steel the kings crown and ring. The next day he walks back into the bar wearing a crown, and said ring. He is then arrested.
But now the king needs something stolen. And so our young rogue has to go on a grand adventure of long hours of travel, and being talked down to. And awful travel rations.
All so the king can marry the girl of his dreams.
(this can be hard to find. Megan Whalen Turner wrote it)

All of these books not only remind me why I read, or even why I want to write, but most importantly. They simply make the world a better place. True art in written form.

thanks for taking the time to read my rant. I'm off to read some more... I've got plenty of time... it's only 3-5 hours past my bed time...

I haven't heard of Amelia Rules, but have heard of the other two books/series.

I suppose reading all day is better than playing video games all day. sweatdrop

(@-BK Love: Have you read either of those ones you heard of? You know I'd love to hear your opinion! You have a talent for... Well lots of things, but especially when talking about something you like!

LOL Others have said that too. XD No, but at some point I do want to read The Thief. Its part of my very long wishlist, and I'm a slow reader. sweatdrop

I wish I had your gift for conveying excitement. I always feel I come across as so flat (unless I'm angry). sweatdrop

@Gaz, that's a different avatar than I'm used to seeing you make! Its great to have a favorite item. ^^ (At least, it sounds like this might be a favorite, yes?)
@ BK Luvr - Ha! Well I'm glad you think I do a good job of it. Back when I was a kid, me being excited was just a warning for people to get out of the way or get bored while I talk their ears off!

I've come a long way since highschool. razz
(that counts as being a kid right?)

I've actually gotten worse about it. XD;;
I used to get excited and then I'd force myself to contain it since I knew others could probably care less.... nowadays I just babble horribly when I get excited about something, but at least try to only babble to those I'm sure might have an interest in what I'm talking about. ^w^;;

I tend to do the same as well and Aften is helping me to contain it. If someone mentions something that I am interested in I usually just start going off about it, explaining and so forth. I know it can be annoying so I am thankful I have Aften to help me out. smile
