It a team of four men and one woman who take scientific myths and test them to see if they are valid or if they are busted.

Like, for example, can a piece of straw penetrate and pierce completely through the trunk of a tree during a high-speed wind storm? Will the gas tank of a moving vehicle explode if set on fire by a trail of gasoline leaking out of a hole, like in the action movies? Are plants really living with actual brain activity and are capable of being aware of their surroundings and the things going on in it?

The show is on the Discovery Channel.
