Thank you so much everyone for each application you have sent in, your kind donations, and most of all your time for sharing the joy that is Questline Charity. Even with the inexcusable handling over at the Soquili shop, we will not be closing the charity or declining Soquili applications. It is not your fault that this matter was communicated so poorly and we will in no way punish you for how that "business" was handled.

That being said, we will no longer be separating the application system between new owners and veteran owners. Because of how few and far between customs have been in Soquili, the rate of applications has steadily dwindled. It seems irrelevant to have a label based on just how many Soquili you do or do not own and force you to wait for the next month available because of that label.

Starting next month, these changes will go into effect for the Soquili section of our charity. Again, thank you everyone for all you have said and done for us so far. We love you. ♥

Hello everyone~ I'm not sure how many of you saw, but after 4 years I was finally able to have Yanisin made by the lovely DD. He is more than worth the wait, and I am so thankful all of you who helped to make this dream possible. heart
I will continue to RP him outside of the Kawani lands, as I have been while awaiting his 'official pixels', however due to what has transpired I will no longer be a part of that shop. I, like many others, will be trying to transfer my beloved characters over to Sanctuary- and, in the meantime, RP them unofficially on my own terms.

So happy to see that your dream finally came true! I'm sorry that the atmosphere there has grown so tense and unwelcoming, but we will always welcome you here at Questline.

I've been a lurker for a while because of RL issues, but all this just has turned me off to ever coming back outside of keeping previous agreements with others. I really wonder if she expects to make a come back from this, especially after banning/blocking people who were doing nothing more than pleading with her to take a step back and come back with a cooler head.

I have a question. In any given month, do you guys also accept applications for other b/cs? or do they have to be reviewed first?

I just ask because like recently; I was questing for funds for a soa goddess. Some people were awesome, and they donated to me. I don't need to ask for funds; i just started to wonder. IF I DID need help getting funds for something there, is it ok to post an app for that? or, is it ok to post one for help down the road getting funds for additional stages of my harvest moon character's art? Just curious about that kind of stuff.

I tried to read up in soq about all that was going on, but i was having a hard time finding where it started. I was able to find fragments as well as some random bits and pieces. I didn't come across teh parts where everyone said people were chewing each other out. Guess I should be glad about that.

IDK.. i mean... while i like my soquilis, i have never really been into heavily hanging out there anyways. Over the past few years, people have tried to sort of make that shop rp required even though it isn't. Like, when they have basket contests; or even a lot of content in various shop events or random games all are curtailed explicitly for people who rp. I'm not against rp; but if a shop isn't rp required, it just shouldn't be required I don't think. Just because a person isn't rp'ing their pets; that doesn't mean their pets are gone to waste. Not everyone enjoys their pets in teh same ways.

In the past, I remember there being more RP central events. I think I saw more RNG in the last few months than anything else. Then again, I wasn't that active because of the Warcraft event.

Okay, to answer the business side of the question. Sorry, I'm still working right now, so I'm half paying attention.

We have been wanting to branch out beyond just Soquili since this charity changed gears for just B/C questers. We would need people to submit a form (available in the guild) as well as two other people who could volunteer their time to judge the applications.

While I'm sure Yuuka and I could do it alone, we don't know the price marks of all shops and we want people who are knowledgeable in those shops. The volunteers would also have to be aware that they could not apply for donations. They would know our system and it would be fair then.

There IS technically a charity over there. The catch to theirs is that you can have absolutely NO FUNDS. See, that's the thing that tends to decide people for them. sad Before, we had it that if staff applied, they couldn't vote. We could revive that rule, but then we'd need more volunteers to cover those who'd want to apply.
