I have a book on Wicca (though I haven't actually read it like a good person just thumb through it a lot)
And for whatever reason did not conceive the idea of practicing the art without the religion.

Ahh! I have a couple books on it including a encyclopedia of witchcraft. smile Yeah.
I think it's associated with witchcraft or more into gods/godesses. It's confusing to me. >< But
Yeah. It's a witchCRAFT,so, no need to worship anybody to do it. :p

I even call upon my angels to help me out. I see gods/goddesses as teachers rather than a people I should worship but I show my appreciation by using the gifts they given me.

I personally think worshiping the self is better.

And I honestly don't know who came up with the idea that witchcraft is a religion. Witchcraft doesn't have a collection of beliefs or orders to follow... It usually depends on the user's choice on what they do with it,good or bad.

And I honestly don't know who came up with the idea that witchcraft is a religion. Witchcraft doesn't have a collection of beliefs or orders to follow... It usually depends on the user's choice on what they do with it,good or bad.

This may sound silly but I think it was Christianity (unspecifically since in itself its a big tree of religions) was the root of Wicca becoming a religion.
Since these two ideas sprouted from the same thing, druids I think.
But I'm really rusty in all that stuff.
