PRC's Winter Princess Quest


Hi everyone! First of all, I just want to thank you for clicking. Even if it was just for the poll =^.^=

So let's get right down to it. Pretty much the story is that I want to become an Ice Princess (yes, in the middle of summer).
My plan is to look like this:



To do that, I need a few things. ( stressed =currently questing 3nodding =have heart =donated)

Winter Rose 3nodding bought 7/26/08 for 47k
Western Zodiac bought 8/23/08 for 38k
2x Let it Snow (26k each) stressed
Radiant Prism 3nodding bought 6/20/08 for 22k
Frostbite Blade (15k)
Emo Glasses 3nodding I've had these since back in the day
Felicia’s Gloves heart donated by EMR 6/19/08

After I get those I'm either gonna start a Princess Charity, or put some finishing touches on my Avatar by purchasing the following:

Pearl Drop Earrings (7k)
Pearl and Sapphire Necklace (1k)

THE STORY

I started Gaia a lil under 5 years ago on November 28, 2003. I was online for about 2 years and then moved off to college and completely forgot about the site.

Recently, I got an e-mail that someone had tried to log on to my account multiple times. I thought (and still do think) that it was weird since I haven't been active in ages. I decided to come on and change my password to something REALLY difficult, so that no one would be able to log on to my name (don't even try wink ).

When I changed my password, I decided to explore the site and again fell in love with it. I decided that I wanted to get back in the Gaia community. Also, I decided that I've grown quite a bit since my last log on and to reflect that, I wanted to change my character.

I started looking at all the different new items available and absolutely love the Winter Rose dress. I decided to keep with the winter theme and thanks to tektek.org (which I didn't know about back in the day) I created what I believe is a beautiful, not too cluttered, Ice Princess avatar (if you have suggestions on how to make it better, I'd love to know!)

Also, as soon as I'm done with my Ice Princess quest, I am thinking about starting a charity for all the princesses out there. We'll see how school's going and then I'll decide for sure (gonna be a senior at Mizzou!).

In summary, I've been inactive for years and now want to get back in the community. I decided that my avatar needs to reflect the fact that I have grown up a bit. As soon as I'm done with my quest, I plan on giving back.

What's a good quest thread without at least one contest?

I hope to throw different types of contests throughout the course of my quest but for now, it's gonna be pretty simple.

Contest 1
As I mentioned in the "Supreme Bumpers," if you bump (or just post in general) 200 times, I'll give you 2k.

Contest 2
Page contest! Every 50 pages I will give gold to the first person on the page. Right now I'm thinking 1k sounds like a decent number, but this will prolly go up as my quest goes on.

7/2/2008 - I now have about 20k... Yay for donators and playing the market right! Also, I think that I might add just a few things to this quest... That's what you get for playing with tektek... Adding Snow Witch (shoulder covers), Pearl and Sapphire Necklace, and Pearl Drop Earrings. I'm not gonna update the avi in my sig though. 1) I'm lazy and 2) I'll be happy to get the pic in my siggy. Once that's done I'll decide if I have it in me to quest some more or if I should go ahead and start my charity.
