yeah, i've been told it's a neat idea by a lot of people. things like this always start slow. once there are a few more regulars to start bumping things will get going a little better. plus, since it's a relatively new charity, not many people have heard of it. they will soon though! biggrin

not really, people don't but tickets for the orphans or for the gold.

one person buys the orphan, and then that gold goes to someone else. we just select one person a month to donate the gold to rather than donating to everyone on a first come first serve basis.

eh, not much. just doing some formatting on the front page to make things look a little more coherent.

it just occurred to me that this is more like one of those charity auctions celebrities do, where they auction off movie props and crap and donate the money raised to charity. except we're auctioning off children sweatdrop

we might eventually, but i don't really have time to draw any up between this, my quest, my art shop, and my life in the real world. i'm hoping maybe someone will eventually donate that, but until they do the front page is stuck being plain domokun

The reserved post is for winners and auctioneers(that win orphans)?
I think that if you put the more rare orphans up for auctioning more people will participate..

the reserved post is for...eh, i don't know yet. i kept it in case i think of anything else to use it for. i might put a random contest of some kind in there or do something else with it.
past people who have been donated to are getting put in the post with the white list, black list, and donators. i don't think i'm going to put a limit on the amount of times you can win an orphan from the auction, because the whole point of the auction is to get the gold to give to people.
