Our lips touched for the first time,
it was everything I dreamed of and more.
You held my hand and stared into my eyes,
vowing, together, we'd forever keep score.

It felt so right, so perfect,
so unreal and blissful.
I never wanted to let you go,
in your arms I was so peaceful.

I knew from that moment,
my life would never be the same.
I'd never have to feel hurt, or anger,
or any kind of humiliation or pain.

Your love makes me whole,
makes me complete inside.
Never thought I'd be the one,
who'd be able to be me, not have to hide.

It's in your arms I'll forever stay,
never wavering, like a message from above.
Can't believe I ever found it,
this incredible thing called love.
