NaNoWriMo = writing 50k words in a month. I'm writing the the diary of an Athenian girl. Loads of people are staying up till midnight tonight for the start but I'm already very tired so I might just get up early tomorrow and do some of it then. Got a plan and everything! Just want to hit 10k as my personal target.

Yeah it is for my tooth, and it's hurt all the muscles in my jaw on the right side, up into my ear and down my neck so I have to do these stuuuupid exercises. I did loads of talking and laughing again yesterday so last night it just swelled up again and now I'm suffering for it.

Wasn't drinking yesterday so even though my costume went down a treat with the citizens of Lincolnshire, it was dead (lol) boring by midnight. I've got to that age where I'm not that interested in wasting my money on getting slaughtered, and yet a good night out is only fun when you are pissed like everyone else! I got a cab back in the end and just went to bed with my sore mouth crying

Wow! I remember you talking about that years ago! God, I'd love to do something like that but I have to clear two reports away first. Plus I do have writers block at the moment. I have my main characters sorted out for AvataraReign but I just can't seem to start it right! I guess I'm too preoccupied with things at the mo.
I think the most words I have ever written was about 6-7k and that was back when I was like fifteen. God I miss those mary sue days when I could just type for hours some relentless drivel! XD

Wow awesome! Well it's very likely you will reach 10k easily! Then you can start setting bigger goals- you could totally get to 50k I reckon!

Wish I was doing some creative writing. My mind is frazzled with this report I have to do on fungal diversity. It doesn't help much that I missed the practical and that the lecturers can be incredibly vague and undemanding > sad I wasted all of yesterday by researching the WRONG TYPE of fungus so I was stressed out when I woke up. Now I'm taking a break after two hours of researching, when really the whole thing is totally messed up to me!

It's only 900 words but they put 30% of it on results and only 10% on discussion, which is what I need a ton of research on! I think I'm just stressing myself out over it now, because I really want to improve my mark from the practice one I had.

I got 65% which is a very clear pass (40%) but I would really like to get a higher mark! Plus this is my first official assessment so its a biggie crying I think it counts for 30% overall. Arghghghghhhhhhhhh.

@Songstress *hug back* it seems to be getting better. I have another tooth scheduled to be pulled out but I have to wait for a hospital referral which might not come until after christmas, so if my wisdom tooth is still causing havoc then they will most likely take that one out too. I'm told that top wisdom teeth are well easy to take out so I shouldn't suffer too much.

God I sound like some diseased tooth freak, I must assure everyone that my dental hygiene itself is top notch! It is just my molars are very weak and I've needed a lot of fillings and reconstructions (which have caused their own fair share of problems). Plus as my mother will tell you, I have a zero pain threshold. Zero zero. Well when it comes to my mouth anyway. I'm okay with cuts and bruises and broken bones hahaha.
