Trades and inventory glitched SINCE AUG. 20th!!!

I have had two glitched trades today. You can look them up in my trade log.

In one case gold and game items transferred OK but an equippable item (Ume Blossom Hairpin) did not. It is lost from the sender's inventory and did not appear in mine.

In the other case a Grunny Shirt did not transfer. It is gone from the sender's inventory and did not appear in mine.

The first trade is several hours old. The second is less than an hour old. Both are marked complete in my trade log.

No. I am not going to let this thread die.

The oddest thing happened.

The items from yesterday's trades appeared.

Then I did another trade.

And the item from the new trade did not appear, AND the items from yesterday's trades disappeared.

I think I'm going to stop doing trades for a while.

OK, this is getting frustrating.

In time, everything from the previous trades did appear and re-appear.

So I did 2 more trades. And it's 8 hours later, and no items. Items appear instantly on my trading partner's inventories, so I think it's me! The trades are working, but it's extremely slow!

It can also take a loooong time for game items saved from Gaia Towns to show up in my inventory.

OK, now my whole inventory is glitched.

I finally got up the courage to change my avatar, and it saved, and all looked good.

Then I made some more changes, went to save again, and the inventory move failed (but the changes display).

My inventory looks like it did before I made the changes (the old items are grayed out, not the current items).

I don't want to have to wait 12-18 hours between instances of touching my inventory for any reason!

When I attempt to save my avatar. The new one appears OK, but the inventory is scrogged.

And I haven't even tried to play with the new EI poses!

OK, now it's moved to the marketplace.

I canceled a vend and then attempted to re-list the same item at a different price. It's a housing item this time.

My equippable stuff inventory looked OK this afternoon, so I changed my avatar again. Items did NOT move like they're supposed to. My inventory still has the old stuff grayed out.

I have a new result from attempting to list the housing item, a Pebboset floor tile.

I can't list it. I get:

OK, I came back and my inventory looked right.

I listed the floor tile for sale OK

It had the stuff I was wearing the last time it said it saved successfully.

So I changed my avi. Stuff didn't move.

I changed it again. I now get:

OK, so it's only 17-1/2 hours since my last post.

I am getting tired of my inventory not working instantly like it has in the past.

I'm getting tired of waiting 24 hours between avatar saves.

I'm getting tired of not being able to trust marketplace transactions.

I'm getting tired of waiting 18-24 hours for stuff I saved from my Towns inventory or stuff earned playing games to show up in my inventory.

I'm getting tired of waiting 18-24 hours for trades to complete. (Yes I have one pending now.)

Once in a while is one thing. Every day is something entirely different.

I don't want to have to abandon this account.

I don't have all that much stuff. Only 300 or so items. I counted.

Can I PM a mod yet?

OK, here's the situation as of now.

24 hours after my previous avatar change: My inventory looked OK with what's grayed out and what isn't except for my set of brown stripes tattoos (grayed out, shouldn't be). I had taken everything off and saved (including the flute, and I lost a day on that because I couldn't re-equip it).

I edited my avatar and saved, which appeared to work OK, but the proper items are not grayed out.

However I sold a Natures Tuxedo. in the MP. I sold a peasant's dress to the stores (I think) and it is still in my inventory. (I won't try to sell them again, I could get banned for that).

I won 2 clothing items in DC this morning (oh-cean cut off shorts and snowman mask) and they are not in my inventory.

Sigh.

If it's interesting: I have 3 other accounts and they are all working fine.

I work on 2 machines. One of them is Firefox 2.0.0.16 on Windows Vista Home Premium V6.0. The other is Firefox 2.0.0.16 on Windows XP Professional V5.1 (service pack 2). Both browsers and Windows are kept up to date.

Yep, still broken.

Not as badly, but still broken.

Trades are slow. Getting items out of marketplace transactions is slow (but only for my side). I waited until this morning to change my avi, and yes, things did not move properly. Again.

I sold the 2 items from yesterday's daily chance to the stores, and they are still in my inventory.

Let me know if you are able to trade demonic imps or immaculate bishops. I have them in my inventory but when I go into a trade they disappear.

Hi I'm having the same issue. My friend and I completed a trade, it's listed in both of our trade logs, but the items are NOT in either of our inventories. sad I'm hoping that a mod can give us an answer on where our items are. We paid cold hard cash for some of those and I'll be pissed if my money just went poof in gaia LIMBO. But now that I got that out of the way have you gotten any updates on the situation? Is your inventory working better?

For me the items are ok but the thing is, my avi's thought bubble ("hey, i've got..." wink always says 2 trade requests, and it's always only 1.



the real problem for me is the marketplace. It's been almost ten days now since I sold an Alruna's Rose for 61,000g and still do not have the gold!! This is getting really frustrating and upsetting. 61,000g is *not* a trivial number. I'd REALLY like to have that gold, seeing as I *was* going to buy another cheaper Rose with it. Meanwhile the prices are climbing and climbing, and i'm unable to buy. This is really inconveniencing for me. And I'm sure to the other people who are having this problem too.

Gaia needs to stop giving us new crap and fix the bugs from the things we do have!
