Trades and inventory glitched SINCE AUG. 20th!!!

For me the items are ok but the thing is, my avi's thought bubble ("hey, i've got..." wink always says 2 trade requests, and it's always only 1.



the real problem for me is the marketplace. It's been almost ten days now since I sold an Alruna's Rose for 61,000g and still do not have the gold!! This is getting really frustrating and upsetting. 61,000g is *not* a trivial number. I'd REALLY like to have that gold, seeing as I *was* going to buy another cheaper Rose with it. Meanwhile the prices are climbing and climbing, and i'm unable to buy. This is really inconveniencing for me. And I'm sure to the other people who are having this problem too.

Gaia needs to stop giving us new crap and fix the bugs from the things we do have!

You should PM someone about the gold problem. It's been more than 24 hours. One of the mods at the top of this forum or the general Q&A forum would be good, especially if you can find one online.

But the trades is probably OK. Every time someone touches a trade it generates a trade request. So if your trading partner does the normal thing, which is enter their password for "offer trade" and then "accept trade" that's 2 requests, for the same trade.

Items are still moving slowly but gold seems OK. From last night, I have a trade that's not done (game items haven't appeared) and an item I purchased in the marketplace. My last avatar save took almost 18 hours to show up in my inventory. But other items have shown up in an hour or two. Even an hour or two is too slow ... moves are supposed to show up RIGHT NOW.

The hard part is remembering what I've sold, so I don't try to sell it again.

The view of my inventory under "shortcuts" is not the same as under "sell your items" in the stores or "sell item" in the MP, and I don't understand why, even given that stuff listed for sale or in active trades should not appear in the latter lists (and sometimes it does).

I really want the instant inventory back. Working with this inventory lag is wearing on me.

Let me know if you are able to trade demonic imps or immaculate bishops. I have them in my inventory but when I go into a trade they disappear.

If you obtained them recently (less than 24 hours) and they appear in some inventory views but not others, then that matches what's happening to me.

Remember that if an item is already in a trade or listed for sale or equipped, it's supposed to disappear from some inventory views.

i rly think this glitch won't wear off after this amount of time. i think u rly should just switch everything u hve into another account no matter how long u take. sry for the inconvenience. the only glitch i've been seeing is the o so very annoying poses in the biancamella. i can't see the with the belt or the one thts glowing. its there some days and not in others stare

But I like this account. This is the avatar that told me her name, just as I was about to type a different name into the registration field.

Today is no different from any other day, except the roll-out of the new inventory displays is broken for ALL of my accounts. The number of game items doesn't display.

I get at most one successful avatar save per day. I can tell when it's safe, the correct items are finally displayed as grayed out.

Items that I sell or trade away do not disappear from my inventory right away. And they disappear from one view at a time.

Items that I buy or receive in trade do not appear right away, and they appear in some views but not others.

Items that I trade for other items (bugs for ink, hats for paper) do not disappear right away, and the items I built do not appear. And again, inventory views get updated one at a time.

This inconsistency in inventory views is one thing I never would have expected from the so-called "Item Normalization" stuff.

Except for "sell an item" numbers do not appear on game items such as bugs and trash.

Yes it's still a problem.

Everything I've listed in prior posts is still happening.

The inventory for Sell An Item in the marketplace is responding faster, but not the views in Sell Your Items in the stores.Also except for the MP view, the inventory still doesn't show numbers on game items.

If I want to sell in the stores (for example the car items from the Rally prize wheel), I can sell stuff I got yesterday and it will disappear from that inventory view tomorrow. The same thing happens with trades.

And I still get only one successful avatar save per day. My avi will change appearance, but items will not be correctly moved and I will get an error message.

I thought it was getting better. Most stuff was at least appearing to be available for sale soon after I purchased or traded for it.

However I just got some stuff from the cash shop (Gaia cash) and it has not appeared in my inventory, and neither has a brown giftbox that I got earlier today from a random item event.

One item from a trade has now shown up.

Several items I sold (both to the stores and in the MP) still show in my inventory.

This is getting stale ... you've got gifting fixed (or almost fixed), will this be next?

Yes I'm still broken. All of yesterday's stuff showed up and some of my Gaia store stuff actually showed up in a couple of hours.

But I'm really annoyed about it taking 18 hours for my cash shop purchases to show up. The marketplace is time sensitive!

I hope you get me fixed before you dare roll out zOMG.

Yep, still broken. Gifts act just like everything else.

Items can appear in my inventory for sale, but it's usually about 24 hours between acquiring an item and being able to wear it.

Yep, still broken. The massive outage of the entire economy did appear to help some, but most of the basics are still wrong. Things that should move instantly take up to 24 hours. I got a gift and it was 48 hours before I could wear the item: 24 to open the box, and another 24 before it was in the equippable items view.

Gifts: 48 hours. 24 to open the box. 24 more to equip the item. This is very discouraging: someone sent out gifts to a whole group of people, and 2 days later I can't wear mine yet. My guild is starting up a gifting event and it will be tough to participate.

The problem is the same with the aquarium. At least it's consistent.

I PMed an "online mod" over a week ago. The PM has not been read.

I PMed a developer the day I made my last post. The PM has not been read.

(If an admin / mod wants to know the names, PM me, I am not name dropping in the forum.)

If I get to 90 days, I'm going to abandon the account. I'm already mourning. I like Alvetra. I'm not looking forward to rebuilding my friends list, my subscribed stuff list, and the like, not to mention all the trade / gifting to a new account and just hoping it doesn't all happen again. I'm trying to be patient. That's why I'm posting here now mostly just once a week.

I wish they'd just get back to me and tell me yes, my situation is hopeless, that they don't care since items are not actually lost. Even that would help!

Meanwhile I had a budget for a certain amount of real $$ per month for Gaia, and I'm not spending it. It's crimping my style for getting items (badly!) but I'm mostly able to get what I really want with gold.
