"My dear, sweet Aluu..." she whispered, walking to the shore, baby still in arms as she looked around. Perhaps it had been an unwise decision, what she once thought to be such a perfect life, hiding amongst the waves of the water. Her baby, Aluu, had grown so well upon dry land, even without her there to guide him. In a sense, it hurt to feel she could not be in his life, but there was also a sense of relief buried within it. He had recognized her, and also accepted her as soon as she came up....
Sighing, she continued to press forward, stroking the top of his head and murmuring.
"A life of peace is not worth a life without my children."
