He toyed with his camera straps anxiously as he stepped into the library, his face a nervous, anxious look on his face as he peered around at the room. THIS Was the way out? How did that make sens...oh wait. Silly him. This place was designed not to make sense.
"Hello? Is anyone in here? Some...girl...said the way out was this way?"

He toyed with his camera straps anxiously as he stepped into the library, his face a nervous, anxious look on his face as he peered around at the room. THIS Was the way out? How did that make sens...oh wait. Silly him. This place was designed not to make sense.
"Hello? Is anyone in here? Some...girl...said the way out was this way?"

In all honesty it was a way out, but of course, the door that he might have exited from was obscured from his point of view. What stood before him, almost beckoning him closer, were rows of endless books.

But only one stood out amongst the rest.

It's binding was worn as though it were battle-worn and had been eroded slightly by the elements. The leather that bound it was tough and thick, yet had a smooth, satin-like softness to it.

It's pages were a crisp, cream color. There were no words on the pages, but bits of sand did seem stuck to the surface and trickled out of the book itself.
