Since the begining of time, there has been knowledge of the difference between right and wrong, good and evil. We tend to see in movies, or read in books that the good and righteous always prevail. Well, here on Gaia is living proof of this classic beliefe.
No matter what time period, when something wrong has been done it greatly angers a god, and the gods are now cracking down the whip. A punishment is issued to all wrong-doers. Their lives are taken from them in ways that best fits what they have done. Of course, death can't be all, can it?
Absolutely not. After the death, they are reborn here on Gaia, where strange things seem to happen all the time, with
no recollection of their past. Apon arival, they seem just innocent infants. They are given to Guardians to be cared for until they are old enough to care for themselves.
If only it were so easy, but simply being reborn doesn't seem like much of a punishment at all. Every one of these beings is given unique punishments that will torment them throughout their lives. These punishments usually have something to do with their past lives. Oh, how hard it will be to live a modern day life with these punishments in the way.
Not to mention the fact that they must learn of their past lives, what they did wrong, and how to atone for it, all before they pass the adult stages of their lives! That's right! These beings that have come to be known as the ToR must atone for their crimes before it's too late!
When it's too late, they will be labled as sinners, and will forever be cursed with their punishments, also only being allowed very limited power. However, if a ToR atones for it's wrong-doings before it's too late, they are freed from all of their punishments, and granted unlimited power!
The life of a ToR sure is a hard one. It's a very good thing that they have you to care for them.
