The Dream Realm - WTF NOT FUNNY, GAIA

Ephemere takes some comfort from Teratus's words; they seem almost protective. Exhausted from the day of flying and visitng the unanswered doors of his friend's homes, he rests fitfully. He thinks he will stay here until Arezou returns...or at least one of his other friends who might be able to explain what happened to her.

( whee *plots!*)

[Zydeco]

Halberd bows lightly to Teratus, before flutting off the table in search of a light snack.

[prolixity]

"Rest, dreamlet," Teratus says. His flighty, cranky manner has melted away briefly, and he projects an almost monolithic sense of calm and safety. Ephemere may not be his own offspring, but he feels parental towards the green dream.

He's aware of the stressed and exhausted humans in the room as well, and extends that projection to them as well.

[Viceregal]

( whee *is finishing reading the last few pages of a novel currently. Also very angsty.* A handful of people just saved the city but are being hunted down as criminals. Not only that but the hero's lady love was brain damaged during a skirmish with the enemy and yes...drama!)

The green dream, curled up like a lonely lap dog in Arezou's favored chair is quickly soothed in to a quiet sleep by Teratus's calming emmissions. No doubt he will be sleeping better now than he has for the last handful of days.

When he's certain Ephemere is resting peacefully, Teratus follows Halberd towards the kitchen, carrying his mango rind. He's still hungry, but he intends to make as little mess as possible and clean it up himself, as his Dreamer has enough to worry about just now.

[Zydeco]

Halberd is on the counter chewing on a nectarine. He looked up as Teratus enters, "Is the Green Dream ok?" He asks before taking another bit of his orange fruit.

[prolixity]

"Tired, overextended," Teratus answers. "His Dreamer is too far away. He will be okay. He rests." He moves over to the bowl of fruit, dropping his mango rind in the sink on his way over, and rummages about for something good. "How is Halberd?"

[Zydeco]

"He is fine, but should visit more." Halberd took another bite.

[Viceregal]

(wow the ending of the book sucked really bad. stare I like sad endings in movies, but not in books. *throws it across room* Very depressing. *curls up*)

[prolixity]

Teratus locates a nice sour green apple. He impales it neatly with his claws and pecks at the shiny skin. "It is good to see Halberd here," he comments. "The freezer has not been the same since he left." His eyes twinkle slightly.

[Zydeco]

Halberd chuckled and conjures up a small icicle. "He is glad to be back and the fridge will be happy again." He pokes the chunk of ice with his talon to check consistency, before freezing the rest of his nectarine.

[prolixity]

"It is good to have cold things in summer," Teratus says, and proceeds with demolishing his apple.

((What book, Arezou?))

[Zydeco]

"Cold things melt faster in summer." He frowns, he never really liked Summer, to hot and sticky, but the cold showers were nice. xd He chips a bit of frozen nectarine off the rest and pecked at it before eating it. "brrr."

[prolixity]

"It is the way of things," Teratus says philosophically. "Is that good iced?"

[Zydeco]

Halberd nods, "Tastes like sherbert." He chipped a bit of his frozen fruit block and passed it to Teratus.

((*bounces about* Actually frozen fruit sometimes does taste like sherbert. Like when you put strawberries in ice cubs.))
