Flatsale previews will be put up a week in advance, with a link to their sign-up thread. You will write ashort bio of what you would give that character. The top 5 (or more, depending how many
people participate) will be chosen by the staff, and assigned a number, and then we will draw
the number at random. You will have one week to write a small bio and come up with
something for the character. (This of course can be changed at your discretion later, it is merely to help us figure out who is more worthy to own the art. :3)
You may only try for one character per flatsale. Since there is a week to put in your entry, there is no need for any proxy. Trades should be prompt! Trades should be sent to the artist hosting the flat, unless otherwise specified. Flatsale prices are: 30,000 gold.◆◆◆

Yokai -> Obakemono (Quest of 1000 Dead Kokeshi required for Obakemono.)

The term Obakemono literally means 'a thing that changes'. In Moonlore, our charactersare Gijinkas (humanoid personifications) of things such as items, animals, nature, and divine myth. The catalyst stage is never drawn or shown on the cert, however.
Types of Yokai:
Tsukumogami: Literally, an 'Artifact Spirit'. Traditionally, a Tsukumogami would develop a soul and a life when the original item reached 100 years of age, but in moonlore, a Tsukumogami may also be birthed from an item from which its owner or creator has poured great amounts of emotion, be it good or bad. The emotion and treatment of the item may affect how it will feel and act when it becomes a Yokai. Tsukumogami are the most common Yokai.Henge: Literally, 'Shapeshifter'. Animal spirits who have grown enough magic to be able to change into a more human-like form. Of course, many of them forget to hide their ears or tails, and some transformations just end up that way. A Henge can shapeshift back into its original animal form at any time it wants. They're often known for tricking humans, or even falling in love with them.Kodama: Nature spirits, similar to nymphs or dryads. They are the magic that lives within forests, and are born from nature. Kodama prefer to live in trees or in nature, so most of them live on the outskirts of the Lost Village, in houses integrated inside the large trees there. It is considered very bad luck to harm or cut down a tree that a Kodama lives in. Kamui: Divine beings (or monsters) who are part of the world; who are the world, and sometimes elements within it. They sometimes have many myths and legends written about them, and sometimes very few, or none at all. Generally unseen, except when they choose. When they die, or are killed, they are born again without memories, and live amongst Yokai, until they realize their existence. More often than not they then leave, but some linger on. (Kamui are quite rare.)Onryo: It is not unheard of for a human to somehow find their way into the world of spirits, the realm of the Yokai. Sometimes they are even spirited away into that hidden realm, a term known as Kamikakushi, which literally means 'Hidden by the gods'. When a human comes into this hidden place, they acquire changes that may reflect who they are, or what they feel. Often times, a yokai born of an item may yearn for its creator or owner, or a Yokai who ventured into the living world and became enraptured with the thought of 'owning' a human, will abduct or coerce a human into returning with it to the Lost Village. Sometimes, Onryo can also be recently deceased humans, who have become earthbound because of strong emotions, or who died horrific deaths. (Onryo are quite rare, but can be acquired sometimes through the Kamikakushi Quest. Onryo have only one stage.) Spiritkind: Also inhabiting the Lost Village are Spiritkind, spirits of the old world who take on varying shapes. (Twilif, Constellations, Purity Homunculi/Lifthra, Phyri, and other varying humanoid types) They continue to exist and live amongst the Yokai, similar yet different in their creation and magic. They were born from the earth and the moon, and some have beastkind familiars, who have since lost their ability to speak. (They are no longer available to acquire here, but can still be roleplayed. Beastkind however, cannot, except as a pet or familiar. If you would like, during events there will be slots in the quest 'Henge Ritual' in which you can submit a beastkind from the old ML to be gijinka'd into a Yokai.)Moonlore

Humans know this place as a cursed land, a place they should never venture to. To the Yokai, however, it is their precious home, hidden away from humans with a magic only known to spiritkind. It is also home to Kamui, Onryo, and the olden spirits. A village entwined between the trees; the sound of chimes in the breeze, the glow of lanterns at night. It is a haven for our kind. Our haven, however, is held together by three 'houses', each ruled over by the more powerful or royal of our kind. Each representing something different.
ℋouse of Kokkuri: Those under the Kokkuri crest are sometimes hard to read. They enjoy their veil of mystery, but don't hide the fact that they are indeed a clever and talented lot, be it in their own unique ways. They are intrigued by humans, and often times meddle in their affairs, or come to their protection (if they feel like it.) Because of clashing ideals, they often rival with the Yomi House. The House of Kokkuri values courage above all else. The Kokkuri House resides in the north part of the Lost Village, and has a large, traditional manor that some live in or around. 
ℋouse of Onibi: Those under the Onibi crest are known for their adventuring, their intellect, and their trouble-making. Depending on the individual, they may be fun-loving and casual, or very haughty and snooty, but one thing remains common among them - they want to know everything, and their intelligence should never be underestimated. They have a neutral view on humans, but some enjoy harassing them (for the sake of knowledge, of course.) The House of Onibi values wisdom above all else.
The Onibi House lives toward the east in the Lost Village, and has a tall manor on a hill with giant bamboo sprigs jutting from the top, and a small bamboo thicket around the base of the hill.
ℋouse of Yomi: Those under the Yomi crest are generally more haughty and proud than others, and are known to be perfectionists at what they do, but they are not above a little trouble-making. They do not like humans in the least, and do not allow Onryo to be a part of their house. Those under the Yomi crest are also more inclined to power, and doing whatever means to get it. Because of clashing ideals, they often rival with the Kokkuri House. They are not without their good deeds, however. Many Yokai heroes of the past came from the Yomi house; those who valued strength above all else.
The Yomi House lives toward the southwest in the Lost Village, and has a grand-looking, decorative manor with several stories.Moonlore

Henge Ritual Fox. Those who learn the way of Henge (transformation) from the elusive fox can transform their beastkinds into yokai. ** For retired ML beastkind pets only.** Only appears in contests, events, and raffles.
