@Eternal: I do have to physically go for classes but we get the lecture slides and all up online. I did take a completely online class one year, it was such a lazy subject. Too lazy in fact >.>

Some assignments are written (like essay writing or law etc) and there are multiple choice online tests. They are graded the same as if you were to do a normal essay. They tend to be harder than exams cause you can refer to the texbooks and notes.

For Law however, it is mainly an open book exam (which is harder than it sounds cause you can be tested on ANYTHING D: ) so it makes no difference between the test (Which is a small percentage of your assessment) and exam (if you fail the exam, end of story-kind-of-thing)

So yeah...woah, that just brought back memories of my previous years XD

I am taking it as a major...oh woe...though, I don't really mind it all that much... but it is soo hard...so much to read D: but thanks! :3 it is sooo not a fun thing to do but hey, I get a degree afterwards. Everything is fun...even Monster Galaxy is fun *shot*

A degree is what you get in the end of your uni life. That piece of paper with Bachelor of Arts, for example is the degree. Masters is also a degree, just one step higher. I think it is just saying you graduated in this area, with distinction etc.

A major is what you want to do in that degree. For me, I am doing Arts/Commerce and major-ing in Chinese and Commercial Law. It is like what you want to specialise in, pretty much.

^^; Never explained what the difference between a degree and major is to anyone before...sorry if I sound rather vague...
