To Zohar, it wasn't so much concern as it was a simple question. Was it a normal occurance? Not in his book. Frowning sadly he approached the lake, taking a small drink himself, when he was done he layed down by the ledge.

" 'm sorry for asking..." He said quietly. "Just not used to meeting others is all...And everyone I know is older so they talk just cause it's the polite thing to do I guess..." It really was his fault if he'd angered the female in anyway. Ignorance wasn't an excuse for doing something wrong. With a crooked frown he turned from the female to stare at his own reflection in the lake.

Esme sighed softly to herself as she saw his broken expression. He was more trouble than it was worth, but she felt obligated as his sibling to at least tell him something rather than leave him broken like that. Despite her cold exterior, she still had a bit of a heart left. How annoying.

Staring at him, her cool eyes did not change. The only thing that did was her tone of voice. It ought to suffice enough, she figured. "It's just your curiosity. Not really your fault," She shrugged her shoulders, "If you really want to know it's just family troubles. I wanted to get away from it, that's all." Though she would never admit it, she was never one for conflict. Most likely in her life time, she would never cope with conflict. It explained her cold shell well enough. A wall she put up to avoid it all.

Jennyl couldn't help the wide grin at Alice's dance before she started going at a brisk pace around the town. She was taking a longer route to the river to avoid going near Katie and Krissie's house and her clan mates, but since Alice was unfamiliar with the area, she was certain the child-like female wouldn't notice. If Alice did somehow notice, Jennyl would probably just make something up about a scenic route.

It didn't take too long to reach the river though, and along the way Jennyl would point out things like trees and particularly pretty flowers. The Dustling female smiled as they approached the water, looking over her shoulder at Alice and said, "Welp, here we are! ...Now... How exactly do we go about this fishing thing?"
