HIATUS.

I'm totally burnt out on this shop right now. Growths are coming, I swear, but I can't do them right now. No inspiration whatsoever.

Please, don't PM me about when your Siberianz are about to grow. They'll grow, but it will probably be a while. Keep your Siberianz direct-linked, because I probably won't take the time to post them when they do grow.

I can't say when/if there will ever be another flatsale, auction, whatever. There probably won't be.

UPDATE: I'm selling the shop so that it won't die. All the graphics, lineart, etc will go to the highest bidder; but understand that I will not stop growing those Siberianz already in existance. Once I'm done with all of them, then I'm done with the shop, and the new owner can do whatever he or she wants with it. 3nodding I know some of you may be upset with me or even angry with me about this, and I'm sorry. I need to do something different. I feel badly for dropping one project and then starting up another but I also feel that I can't do anything else at this point.

About the Siberianz
Siberianz closely resemble the tigers of our world, but are much larger and much more intellegent. They come in three stages: Newborn, Cub, and Adult. While their coat patterns do come in everyday, normal tiger patterns, it is far more common to see them in more wild and exotic colors, such as blues, greens, reds, purples, etc.

Newborns
In the Newborn stage, Siberianz are little more than mewling bundles of fur. They spend their time eating and resting, and bonding with their new human companion. They are about as big as a normal-sized housecat at this stage, but they are rapidly growing, and in about a week or two they'll become cubs.

Cubs
Cubs have finally gained the ability to walk on their own two -- er, four -- paws, and their agility and intellegence has already far surpassed that of their human companion. They have also, by this stage, formed a sort of telepathic link to their human bond, and can also telepathically communicate (with a limited vocabulary) with others of their species, as well as most other pets. But remember -- they are still learning. Cubs are about the size of German Shepherds. They remain in this stage for about a month, maybe more, and finally they grow into adolescents.

Adolescents
Ah, don't we all love that teenage stage? The angsty period of time when Siberianz are still struggling to learn who they are. This is when they develop strong relationships with others, whether they are desperately in love with someone, or maybe hating another's very existance. They are almost fully grown. It might take anywhere from four to eight weeks for your adolescent to mature into an adult.

Adults
Adults are huge -- normally reaching around four feet tall at the shoulders, and they can easily carry a small human. Their telepathic abilities have drastically improved, and often they can communicate over large distances -- it's been recorded that one Siberianz was able to communicate over a distance of several miles!


About Events

About Flatsales
As often as I can I will hold flatsales for four to six Siberianz newborns at a time. I will post pictures of different colored bundles, and the first user to post with the bundle they want gets the newborn. Bundles are only for the purpose of flatsales! The bundle does not go in your sig; when you win the bundle, I tell you whether it is a male or female and you will give me a name. Once you pay me for the Siberianz I will fill out the cert and I will give you the url to your newborn Siberianz. Also, the bundle usually -- not always, but usually -- is the same color as one of the main colors of the newborns. I do not randomly hand out newborns; each newborn is already colored at the time of the flatsale and has a bundle that goes with it.

Flatsale price is currently 3k. I may experiment with a new price of 4k in the next flatsale.

About Auctions
If you want a custom, you'll have to wait until I hold an auction, because this is the only time you can buy a custom design. The user with the highest bid will PM me with eye color, coat color, stripe color, etc. I will also hold special auctions from time to time; these may be anything from cosplays to special edition Siberianz.

Starting bid for a custom auction is currently 4k, while special auctions do not have a set starting bid (they do have a starting bid, but not one that I will use every single time I hold a special auction). Auctions will usually run for 24 hours.

About Raffles
Raffle tickets are currently 100g each, and the winner gets the newborn/cub that is shown in the raffle thread.

Raffles will go for either a week or until all tickets are bought; whichever comes first.

8/11/2004 -- Oi. I really need to learn to update. Flatsale previews are up, flatsale is scheduled for Friday around noon. Surprise auction going on now, see first thread. Tomorrow I'll auction off the two housecat Siberianz, and then I'll start working on the wildcat series, i.e., puma, panther, cheetah, leopard and so on. -nod-

8/4/2004 -- Kirara auction sold to Andrani for 15.1k. First newsletter sent out yesterday. Five more cubs have grown! Check them out on page 17. Also, I've finished two new linearts... adult female and adolescent female. Adolescent male coming soon!

7/30/2004 -- Kirara cosplay auction scheduled for tomorrow. Both custom orders are done and waiting for customer approval.

7/16/2004 -- Purple female was sold to were girl. There will be a custom auction starting at 3:00 PM PST today. FAQ has been updated (okay so it hasn't as of yet, but as soon as I finish updating the news I'm going to go update the FAQ. So go check it out, biznatch. xd ) Later: I also decided to update the breeding rules. Go check that out too. And I got all the certs switched to the smaller ones. -nod- Yey fer me.

7/15/2004 -- Mitsukaze asked for a refund, and I granted it. So now there is a purple newborn for sale; see first post. Also, I switched out some of the older cubs' certs and made them smaller (and they look a heck of a lot better too sweatdrop ). Added a mailing list (see below) and a to-do list (see below also).

7/12/2004 -- Bundles have been put up, so the flatsale is ready to go. Later: Flatsale went rather well, considering that both Gaia and my image host were having problems. sweatdrop All the bundles were bought. All certs (with the exception of Malhith's; I need to get the name for her second newborn) have been filled out and placed in the Cert Pickup to be... picked up. xd

7/11/2004 -- Auction closed at 4 PM PST, congratz dragon119900! Another flatsale has been scheduled for tomorrow at 12 noon PST. Flatsale thread is here, but the bundles are not up yet.

7/10/2004 -- Flatsale today! Later:Flatsale is officially closed. All the bundles were bought and everyone was very happy (I think) with their newborn Siberianz. Also, I have a new lineart ready for the cub stage. The one that you see in the information is the female one, and the one I just made is the male one. I will have a new adult lineart soon to complete both the adults, so as soon as that one is ready I'll update the image. Even later: I'm online and I'm bored. So what do I do? I'm starting an auction. XD A custom one, at that. (Besides, I want a Shaoilin Wolf. xd )

General Rules
1. No art stealing. This should be self-explanitory.
2. Don't ask if you can have one. You can only buy one if there is a flatsale/raffle/suction going on at the time. If there is, you will know by the big red-lettered announcement and the link to the flatsale/raffle/auction in the very first post.
3. Don't ask for one if you don't have the money. See the F.A.Q.
4. You may buy for a friend. Just let me know, please. If I see someone waltzing around with a Siberianz in their sig that isn't on the Owners list, I am likely to go ballistic.
5. If you do buy for a friend, you must wait until the next auction/flatsale/raffle to buy one for yourself. Self-explanitory.
6. Co-owning is not allowed. Sorry.

Flatsale Rules
1. No editing your post. If you do not get the one you want, post again with your second choice. If I notice that you have edited your post then you will be greylisted and disqualified from that flatsale.
2. Flatsales do not start until I say so. This will also be in big, bold red letters.
3. One Siberianz per person per flatsale. You can buy as many as you like, but only one from each flatsale.
4. No changing your mind. Once you post which one you want, and you get it, you can't change your mind later, even if the one you want is open.
5. Please post only one selection. Do not post, "I'd like #1 please, or if that's taken then #7, or if that's taken then #4." That's not fair to anyone else.

Auction Rules
1. Auctions do not start until I say so.
2. There is no anti-sniping rule. Usually, anyway. This will change if it is an SE auction.
3. Minimum increse is 500g - 1k depending on the auction.

How long do I have to pay for my Siberianz?
For an auction/flatsale, you have 24 hours to pay for the Siberianz, starting as soon as the auction ends. For a raffle, you have 48 hours to send me your trade UNLESS you have sent me a PM explaining why you will be gone.

Do you do pet trades?
Yes! PM me with examples, or give me the link to your shop. I won't always accept, however. Custom for custom only please. 3nodding

Not only can you roleplay with it, you are encouraged to do so!

Where do I roleplay my Siberianz?
If you want, I can set up a roleplay/journal thread for you in the Breedables Roleplay subforum. You can also roleplay your Siberianz in this thread, or if you're more of the one to get into more serious storylines, you can roleplay in the RP thread, located [insertrpthreadlinkhere]. Be sure to read the rules first!

Your enthusiasm is overwhelming. stare But no, you don't have to. This may change if I notice too many people disappear off into the horizon with their Siberianz and never being heard from again.

Do I have to save my Siberianz to my own server?
Not until it is fully grown. In fact, it is imperitive that you let me host it while it is still a newborn/cub, otherwise it won't grow.

I luff my Siberianz like it is. Can I keep it as a newborn/cub?
Sure, just save it to your own server. And let me know so I can delete it off mine.

Okay! What's a good hosting place?
I'd recommend Photobucket, they rarely go down. (Though when they do... xp )

Unless some freak accident has occured in which I lost all my art files, I make a good effort to save all the Siberianz stuff I do. So as long as I've still got the image, yes, and I'll host it for you again.

I don't like the way my Siberianz came out. Can you change it? Can I have a refund?
Unless your Siberianz was a custom order, no, I will not change it. I will not give refunds, period. I did it for one person, yes, but I decided that I won't do it anymore. Not fair? Neither is life. Read the rules before you buy from me, that way you won't be surprised when you see what comes out of the bundle.

Can my Siberianz be gay/bi/lesbian/good/evil...?
However you choose to roleplay your Siberianz, it's fine with me. However, Siberianz cannot breed with the same sex mate.

Hmm. Sorry, but for now, no. If I decide to hire someone in the future, I'll likely post a coloring/lineart contest.

Breeding Rules
1. Related Siberianz cannot breed. Just... eww. xd
2. Members of the same sex cannot breed.
3. Siberianz cannot breed until they are adults.
4. Siberianz can only breed twice. Also, please wait at least a month before having your Siberianz breed again.
5. Siberianz mate for life, or until one dies. If one dies (which will only happen via RP), then they can choose another mate.
6. Breeding will result in 2-4 newborns.
7. Breeding costs nothing. BUT, if you want to keep the newborns, they are 2k each. Any left with me will be raffled/auctioned off.
8. Once the young Siberianz have been bought, they are yours to split up, keep, trade, sell, auction, raffle... whatever. Just let me know so I can make the cert once the newborns have owners. And no co-owning.
9. You must roleplay to be able to have your Siberianz breed. You can't just say, "Ooh, I wonder what would result if my emerald-green Siberianz bred with that pale yellow one over there... would it be a light green or a dark yellow or both?" You have to roleplay out the courtship. Please don't roleplay out the actual breeding, though. xd

Roleplay may be done either in the shop thread or in the seperate RP thread, located here. However, the roleplay is for advanced roleplayers only. This means you must type coherantly, and that you must use formal, story-style roleplay only. You may use either past tense or present tense, but I ask that you use third-person only.

What this does mean:

Kefira wandered through the woods, her nose twitching every once in a while, scenting the air for any strange smells. It wasn't long before she scented another Siberianz nearby, and she took off in a quick sprint to go meet it.

What this does not mean:

hi guyz LOLZ hows you all/ *kefira wanders thru t3h woodz* hey i think i smell sumthin... *goze to meet another siberanz*

I ask that if you post out of character, or include an out-of-character comment in your in-character post, that you surround the out-of-character comment with double parentheses ((like this.))

It is common curtesy to ask if you may start roleplaying with a group of people if they are already roleplaying with each other. It's not fair to people who have been roleplaying for the past few minutes (or hours whee ) if you just jump in with the possibility of ruining their storyline. Remember: people in the RP thread before you have the right-of-way. This means they can choose to ignore you, or they can have their character chase yours off. They can also ask you (kindly, in OOC) to refrain from stepping in until they have finished their storyline.

If you decide you would like to roleplay in the RP thread, you must first PM me a short description of your character's personality and history. These have to make sense and they can't be too outrageous -- I will only tolorate a few "His/her old family all died from poachers/plague/windstorm/hurricane/tornado/flood/drought/flyingsquirrelofDOOM" (actually, please don't try that last one. o.o). They have to be short because I will be posting these on the first page of the roleplay thread, and I don't want them to take up too much room. If your entry is too long I will summarize it.

This is what you should PM me when you join the RP thread:

Roleplay in the RP thread takes place in a jungle-type location much like the jungles on earth, with a large clearing where a river runs through (see picture). The area represented in the map above is quite large, several miles across. However if the territory gets too crowded, a group of tigers may decide to scout through a new part of the jungle, and I will edit the map to fit the roleplay that will ensue. PM me if you would like to explore a new area of the map. If agreeable, the scouting party (adolescents or adults only please) will roleplay out the territory that they find. The more detail, the better, because it's easier for me to figure out what to draw. Also, please include the direction the scouting party is heading. As territory is claimed, I will mark the territory on the map.

There are no humans in the area; you are roleplaying your Siberianz as a character, not as a pet. I might throw a disaster in every once in a while to keep things interesting, and this MAY include poachers, but I think it's stretching it a bit. As a general rule, most Siberianz have never heard of or seen humans.

Rules
No power-playing or godmoding. Powerplaying is defined as playing a character that is not your own, and godmoding is defined as playing your character as if it were all-powerful or all-knowing. If your character is in a fight with another character, don't try to say that your character bites the other's leg and breaks it. That would be powerplaying. But on the other hand, if the other character is attacking you and you say that your character dodges all moves without ever getting scratched, that's godmoding.

Siberianz can die, but only as a part of the storyline and then only if the owner wishes it so. I might make a special cert to commemorate the life of the tiger who has died. Oh, and they can also die if their owners are blacklisted, and then I will not make a special cert for them. Dead characters are not renewable.

Characters may fight for ranks, mates, etc. I decide the overall outcome.

Prides form when two Siberianz become mates and decide they want to create a pride together, and other tigers join this newly formed pride. Siberianz start seeking out pride alliances when they become adolescents, and they either take a rank in a pride or become a loner when they grow to adulthood. Ranking is done through roleplay, but if there is a problem between two characters who can't resolve who will be pride leader, I will step in and make the final decision.

The Greylist
This is for people that annoy me, but haven't quite pissed me off that much yet. For example, some of the things that might get you put here are...

-PMing me consistantly asking for a Siberianz, or any other question that is clearly covered in the store
-Starting a fight out of character in the store or RP thread
-Guilt-tripping
-Whining
-Advertising in the shop or RP thread
-any other annoying action that isn't quite as bad as a blacklist action

If you make a good effort to redeem yourself, i.e., lurking the shop, roleplaying, being overall a good person, I will remove you from the greylist eventually. Do not ask to be removed! Greylisting is one-time only. Meaning, if you repeat any greylistable offenses after you've already been greylisted, you are automatically blacklisted.

The Blacklist

Everyone knows what this is for. This is more than just a slap on the hand, this is a permanent ban. Some blacklistable offenses are...

-Stealing artwork and/or altering it in any way (unless you are the owner and you are making a sig displaying multiple pets)
-Repeating a greylistable offense
-Others I can't think of right now whee

People on this list have been banned from ever owning, receiving, or roleplaying with a Siberianz. The blacklist is permanent, meaning that once you've made it to the blacklist, you will never be removed.
