"Yes," She giggled. "You did."

She pulled her head back and looked up once more, just barely making out the other kitsu around them before tapping at the chair with a paw.

"But I am not scared anymore! Oh, won't you come out?"

She turned her head down, looking under the chair at him again. "Please?"

Adria was equally shocked, and found herself nuzzling each of the kitsu in turn. "I haven't seen many kitsu from my family, and when I do, they don't stay to talk...But all of you in one place!" She wagged her tails. This had been a good idea. "I knew Lilka had many decendants, but...wow..." Turning to Carnesir, she added, "Yes, I am. I'm the..." She paused and visualized the family tree her owner had so obsessively shoved in her face. "...granddaughter of Lilka and Tabris. One of many. My owner decided one day that she was going to 'trace my roots' so to speak; I think she knew that I came from a large family. But...just...wow."

A bit nervously he did as she asked, looking up at her with curiosity. "I'm Fulbright. And you?" His tails were a bit slow to uncoil after that.

Kaylee trotted in a circle happily before flopping down onto her hind legs and curling her tails safely behind her.

"Fulbright! I like that name. It's cheerful and happy. I'm Kaylee!"

She ducked her head in, and whispered as if embarrassed to be asking such a thing. "You.. seem familiar. Have we met?"

"Thought so," Carne said with a nod and slight smile. "Very few that I know, have that telltale, royal blue. But, I'm please to be aquainted and have another of us back."

Nuzzles her, he couldn't help but flash back to Lilka in his mind. He missed her terribly, but he was still hopeful of seeing her one day if the fates would be so kind to let him.

Teranika, having sensed Constantine's embarrassment over his earlier clumsiness, gently nudge her brother to follow her to give him some time to calm down. She was quite fond of her brother and was hopeful that he'd find someone other than a family member that he'd take a liking to.

Gladly complying with his sister's silent request, he willingly followed her to a secluded corner. He knew that he'd have to get over this embarrassment one day, but first grace before that. Curling up with his sister's body against his back, he gently mulled in his thoughts.

Maeve Aria couldn't help bounding about, it wasn't herself to do so, but she couldn't help it. She was still a bit curious though, "Is there any other of our family members living with you?"

"Telltale blue?" As Noo's tree had only provided names, Adria hadn't realized that this was a prominent gene. Though her mother was blue. And, now that she'd thought of it, Collista was blue as well. Hm. She turned to answer Maeve.

"You know...there aren't. Like I said, I don't see much of the family. There's Kaitou..." But she hadn't seen much of him lately, either. "Excuse me. Kaitou is my...half...nephew." She laughed. "Things get a little garbled after a while."

((Adonis? *searches owner's list*))

"Well, I guess I wouldn't say that everyone has it," Carne mentioned with a chuckle. "But it has shown up a number of times from what I can remember."

Taking a glance over to the blue kitsu with Teranika, "Constantine is from Tabris' line also. He isn't as blue, but he has his father's blindness. I love him as a son nonetheless."

"Oh, I see," Maeve flicked her tails around instead of jumping around. Having Constantine as a half-uncle literally, she understood what Adria meant.

"Well, you're a bit better than me," she said, lowering her head a tad in abashment. "I hardly know anyone past the third generation. We've been gone so long, I feel there's much that I need to catch up with.. I only fear that I'll get lost in it all."

"Well, there aren't many after the third generation. I'm working on that, though." She chuckled, tails wagging madly. "I figure it's not like it's some sort of task. An 'Oh, go meet every kitsu of your line' thing. That would be crazy. I can't say that too much has happened, though. But then, I don't know how long you've been gone."

"Shoot," Maeve said. "I don't think I even know have of the thrid generation. However, I do have that wish to meet each and everyone if possible despite the craziness of idea!"

Nuzzling Adria, Carne said, "I'll leave you two to get to know each other better."

Smiling at both after nuzzling Maeve, he padded back to his spot at Laisewiel's side and fell back in reminiscing.

Saying good night to her grandfather, she turned back to Adria with tails looking like a writhing cloud of fur. Maeve mentioned, "How many have you met of the family? Are they well that you know of?"
