Tsubaki, a little less bothered by the lack of closeness, still keeps a steady stream of meaningless, burbly projections directed at her brother as if to reassure him of her presence. But more importantly, she seems to be more interested in the little things that swoop into her vision, pinging curious little thoughts at each one as if to ask "What's that? What's this? What's that th-- oh, it's gone."
Melody admits she's happy to be out of the house, but she still seems to be a little duller than Melody, hair disheveled, clothes slightly askew, dark circles under her eyes, and her projections just baaaaarely this side of grumpy.
And Boyan, trailing behind the family (almost like a reverse line of ducks, he thinks), is trying to forcefully project his cheer on everyone else. Look at Grandpa, he seems to be saying. Grandpa is having a good time! So everyone else should be having a good time too!
So where are those smiles, huh? scream
