We all know that Pokémon have been here for an extremely long time…but where did they come from? How did they come to be here? Strange creatures that can either become companions for everyday or a partner used in the trainer world of battle. Pokémon can change over time as well in a process called evolution. Some Pokémon evolve by level, some by stones, and even by certain conditions. We’ve also deduced that Pokémon can breed making us wonder what else is there that we don’t know.

In battle, Pokémon can learn moves through Technical Machines (TMs) and Hidden Machines (HMs). Trainers use them against other Pokémon Trainers to level them up to achieve more moves, to become stronger, and to even evolve into another species of Pokémon.

While we don’t know everything, we do know that Pokémon can become vital allies in good, and unfortunately evil. If you are given a Pokémon, you must be careful to treat it with the utmost respect and care. Once a trusting friendship and bond of Pokémon and Human is achieved, the possibilities are limitless!

>> No Spamming. Spamming is considered bumping and really, I don't like it. I consider it spam when it's posting pets from other shops, posting links to other shops, bumping, etc. Also, don't obsessively post your Pokémon from this shop. I understand you're proud of your Pokémon and real excited to get him/her, but it can make other people feel jealous and insecure about not getting one.

>> No harassing staff. If your Pokémon has yet to evolve, or has yet to receive it's edits, then politely post in the shop or PM the colorist. You must remember, this is GAIA. It is just a GAME. Real Life is WAY more important than a GAME!

>> How much is a Pokémon?
Well, it depends on the Pokémon and the event. But here are the basics:
Flatsales: 6k – 15k
Raffles: 100g/ticket
Auctions: Starting bid – 10k; Minimum Increasement – 1k; Autobid – Varies
Customs: 50k+

>> How come so and so got a Pokémon for free?
They either did something really good for the shop, was a good friend, or the staff felt they deserved one. Usually this rarely happens though, unless the person has been loyal Trainer and helped out the staff.

>> Can we breed our Pokémon?
Yeah! The result will only be two though, and they have to be in the same egg group. More on that in the breeding section.

>> How many can we own?
As many as you want/can afford. However, if you are planning to become a Trainer, you can only have six on you at a time, just like the game.

>> Can I be a Gym Leader?!
Umm at the moment I’m not really looking for Gym Leaders, but I might have something planned for that sort of thing. Keep a look out!

>> Are you hiring?
Because we are just starting out, yes! PM Dark x Deception or the Mule for details.

>> How do I get the Pokémon é?
Hold down ALT and press number 130.

Here, you can buy items that can guarantee you to catch Pokemon whenever one suddenly appears from the wild. They won’t be different colored like the ones that are Flatsales, Auctions, or Raffles, but they are Pokémon nonetheless and they can breed, be battled, and all that other fun stuff! The items will be more like coupons such as give you extra tickets in a raffle or subtract the ball money amount from a flatsale/auction price. Present the coupon in your form post for it to be counted. Only one coupon per event please, though you can buy as many as you want!

Shop Status: OPEN!

Poke Ball --- 2,000g (25% catch rate)
Great Ball --- 6,000g (50% catch rate)
Ultra Ball --- 12,000g (75% catch rate)
Master Ball --- 500,000g (100% catch rate in all events)
Potion --- 30g (Heals 20 HP)
Super Potion --- 70g (Heals 50 HP)
Hyper Potion --- 1,200g (Heals 200 HP)
Max Potion --- 2,500g (Heals HP to full)

Evolutions

These items help your Pokémon to either level up or evolve.

Fire Stone --- 5,000g
Leaf Stone --- 5,000g
Water Stone --- 5,000g
Thunder Stone --- 5,000g
Moon Stone --- 5,000g
Everstone --- 1,000g (Stops evolution)
Rare Candy --- 1,000,000g (Evolves your Pokémon to the next stage automatically)

Battling is a major part in a Trainer’s life and his or her Pokémon’s life. Battling makes a Pokémon grow stronger as well as the bond and trust between Trainer and Pokémon partner. However, here: battling is OPTIONAL because these Pokémon are bred for mostly home use, but battling isn’t out of their jurisdiction. Not by a long shot!

FAQ

>> How do we battle?
There will be a lot of dice rolling, and much calculating. There will be a mock battle in the guild so that Trainers can have an understanding of what will happen.

>> How much HP will my Pokémon have?
It depends on the Pokémon and the level. It will tell on the cert.

>> How much EXP will my Pokémon get for winning?
It depends on the Pokémon that wins and the Pokémon it battles.

>> What if I am out of usable Pokémon?
Well you can’t battle anymore, obviously and you will have to heal your Pokémon at a center. Which really means after the battle is officially over, all of your Pokémon will be fully healed.

>> Can I use items during a fight?
Yes, but that will take up your turn. Your Pokémon will not be able to attack.

>> How many moves will my Pokémon have? What moves?
Four moves is the maximum a Pokémon can know. They will be listed once you receive your Pokémon. It’s your job to remember the moves. When the Pokémon levels up to a certain level, you can choose to keep a move, or delete one to make room. Just like the game. And just like the game, the moves will have Power Points (PP). If a move’s PP becomes 0 (zero), you can’t use it. If all the moves reach a PP of 0 (zero) your Pokémon will begin to use Struggle, which damages itself as well, so be careful!

Evolution is what makes Pokémon so unique. They can either change into something completely new, or not at all! A way a Pokémon evolves is through battle or special items (such as Rare Candies). Since battle isn’t optional in the shop, there will be special events in the Lab that will give owners a chance to evolve their Pokémon. There will also be random evolution raffles. Basically what is being said is that your Pokémon WILL have a chance to evolve. So not to worry!

Breeding has recently been researched in the labs. It has been found that Pokémon hatch out of eggs. The species is determined by the mother and the moves are inherited from the father. Both parents must be within the same Egg group in order to have an egg. Pokémon can only have one baby, but there are ways to increase the amount of children a Pokémon couple may have. Pokémon may breed at any time and as many times as they wish, but here to put a lid on over population, there will be regulations.

>> A Pokémon may only breed two (2) times every three (3) months. That's up to eight ( 8 ) eggs in one (1) year.

>> Both Pokémon must belong in the same egg group in order to breed.

>> Pokémon owned by the same Trainer may only breed three (3) times a year. Extra eggs that are bought must be either given away to someone or sold back to the shop.

>> Breeding costs 20k (10k from each owner).

>> Extra eggs will cost 20k each. Both trainers don't have to have an extra egg, but if both trainers would like an extra egg, a discount price of 35k is to be sent to the mule.
