Rhyleigh, I have come to the conclusion that Gaia Online just doesn't like you.

They don't do it every time with the credit card. I have used it for over a year and this is the only, besides the first time I used it, that it has locked items.

@Rhyleigh - Mmm, the only other thing I could think of is if your bank briefly halted transactions on the card or something. Over here the banks occasionally block the cards if they think something is wrong and that could have made Gaia's system all screwy but I dunno if they do that where you are. @_@ Sorry I can't be more help.

Rhyleigh- it might take more time on the front end, but if you could transfer funds from your bank account to your paypal and then just do a direct transfer from your paypal balance, I assume there wouldn't be a hold-time on the items?
