Oh my! What is that? That strange infant right above this post? Can someone explain for me? Is it.... mutated? CLAUS, WHAT DID YOU DO?!

Wait.
Is it October?

Oh. Oh. That's right! It's come time to explain a little something special about October, huh? Well, back during The War, Daydreams decided to fuss with Nightmare's ability to imbue soul stones, and instead created a curse that effects both Above and Below! Every October, soul banks shut down and it's illegal to purchase a stone. Why?

Because every child who emerges from a stone during October is mutated.

Thanks to the Daydreams botching up their attempt to make Nightmare's essentially infertile, October is a month where any child who awakes from their stone is mutated, whether their parents are or aren't! As a result, stone banks have completely shut down every October. Lucky for you and.... unlucky for them, a black market appears every October. Desperate Nightmare's wishing to have kids are prone to buying stones from them, and having a mutated child isn't illegal! For years the black market has flourished off selling soul stones during October, and while this may be your first time hearing about it, mutated Nightmare's have been existing in Below and Above for years. The curse also created the Pumpka's, for some odd reason!

What does that mean for you?

This year, our Haunted Hallow event is proud to finally reveal mutants and allow owners a chance to receive their very own spoopy kid! There are mutants and non-mutants to be found throughout this entire event, and plenty to go around! Since this event is rather big, we've made it that everyone can win two from each type of game!

That means you can win:

Two pets from two different RP games
Two pets from two different flaffles/raffles
Two pets from two different creative games (where you create something in hopes to win the favor of the judges)
Two pets from two different RNG games

This does not include surprise in-thread games!

Also, we have spooky semi-customs open currently! And we are having spooky breedings towards the end of the month, so get those graduations and intent RPs done!
