Wow, a hundred pages though, that's an accomplishment. I'm in the process of trying to write two different novels atm and it's slow going (Limn isn't helping haha).

I really agree about the underrated thing, what I love about gryphons is the fact that it's actually anatomically semi-plausible for them to be able to speak if you take the parrot angle in terms of their vocal anatomy, and their "hands" are built in such a way that they can manipulate objects like people. I think all of that makes them a lot easier to RP as well as more relatable, and brings up interesting possibilities in terms of culture and material traditions.

Clearly there should be a gryphon inspired by the intense Jim Henson gryphon from that weird show with that guy and his dog that tell random stories.

Edit: Now I want a serf with a secretary bird head who is a secretary for a noble. :<

Birds are just saldajdsa. They are so beautiful and amazing, but please stay away from me. I do not want to be anywhere near you. Do not land on or poop on my car, please don't look at me through the windows of my house, and most of all, please don't sing in the middle of the night (3 am or later). It is so creepy it's not even funny.

Oh god. I wouldn't say my fear of puppets is necessarily a phobia but it definitely approaches that level. UGH PUPPETS. THEIR EMPTY EYES.
