There is another idea I had that goes hand in hand with Hope's; our characters Steel and Tyler. In our world, Tyler is a drug addict-half-breed mermaid. And Steel is... he thinks he has the worst life ever and wants to end it. |D Pessimistic. I'm not sure just yet how we're going to set them up, though. We only know their castes.

That would be really cool in Limn I think, you could always have the Tyler-gryphon addicted to soot--here's the link to it on the wiki, it's super obscure (listed in a really vague reference under Shroudlings) so I'm not sure if many people have come across it yet. Which castes are they?

Tyler and Steel are BFFFFFFSSsSS, because their fathers are derp (one loves the sea too much and one loves fossils too much. Ancient Ruins? They're going to camp underwater for three weeks to research it.)
Becuase Tyler is so pessimistic, we wanted him to be Tyler's Serf. We were thinking Tyler would be a Noble/Scholar (I was thinking Noble to poss Tyler around more, but he's not that lightly coloured.) That way Tyler could boss him around. Still friends, though. That way Tyler can take up his dad's profession of researching/studying the sea and stars... but since he can't really leave the area, I was wondering if any of the Gryphons knew what the sea even is?

Phoenix - Well it's stressful but also worth it I think, it's really awesome to see so many character ideas, and there is always that surprise happening at the end. biggrin

Sil - LOL OMG NIGEL. MY LIFE IS COMPLEEETE. Have you seen this?

Bouncy - No, Lampkeepers only come from nobles and scholars, although it's one of those things where the rigid nature of the caste system is a really stupid idea, because Limn is going to end up running out of Lampkeepers one of these days.

Aes - That would definitely work I think! They have legends and stories about the ocean, so he could possibly be interested in researching that, also, there are always still the stars.

Do you mind if Hope and I share a journal for them, so it's easier to understand rather than cross referencing threads? Or do you want them separate :3
