I've honestly given zero thought to how I would want Darwin to be colored. My game plan is 'nab a noble and declare it to be Darwin no matter what he looks like'.

Sil: I picture he'd be a very bookish noble. Eccentric, not frivolously so, but more like someone who spends too much time in his own mind.
He'd probably be a little ruffled, since he doesn't care too much for fashion but his caste dictates he needs to at least look like he's trying.
And he'd do things just for the sake of doing them.

I actually kind of picture him as a pompous dandy, more than a bookish guy. The kind who puts up this grand facade of being everything a noble should be- he goes hunting, he dances, he plays chess, he charms.

If he behaves as people would expect a noble from old blood to behave, they won't suspect him of his dalliances. biggrin Plus look, he's just /so charitable/, helping all those sick untouchables with generous donations, sometimes even visiting where they live. =o Isn't he brave?

So I don't particularly care what he looks like, though I think a monocle and possibly some kind of cravat (if it doesn't look too ridiculous) would be awesome.

Whereas with my quagga character, I know how I want him/ her to look... and literally nothing else.
