Far into the Atlantic ocean there is an island overlooked by many. Filled with lush greenery, sandy deserts and roaring mountains, the island of Namiah is the perfect paradise to the untrained eye. But inhabiting it is a vast species of cat-like creatures called Namrah. Wander into this world at your own risk. While the Namrah are generally a peaceful tribe, there are some unsavory creatures lurking around who may wish to do you harm. But come, wander into this paradise with me and begin your own adventure..

>> The Reef : Surrounding the great island is a huge reef that stops anyone who is not welcome on the island. On the better half of the island, the reef is filled with brilliantly coloured coral and troops of flashy fish, but as you get closer to the darker side of the island the beautiful fish and coral start to die out, to be replaced with man-eaters and remnants of sunken vessels from faraway lands. Namrah tend to swim in the reef quite often to cool off from a long day of play, but they always have an elder there to look out in case some fish decide to get too friendly. It is said if you dive deep enough down in to the reefs one can spot aquatics peek out every now and then to get a better look at the other Namrah,

>> The Great River : Dividing the island in half, the Great River deserves its name. Flowing as clear as the sky and as cold as an ice cap, it is certainly a force to be reckoned with. When you peer into the waters you can see the stones that make the riverbed, which seem to hold every color the island has to offer. Many times inhabitants from both sides meet here to drink, never looking at each other. However, there are tales of Namrah from opposite sides meeting and suddenly disappearing. But they are just tales of course... right?

>> The Beach : Ahh, the beach. Located in Zuri's territory, the beach is a central gathering point for all good Namrah to sunbathe and strut their stuff. Male and female alike love to gather and frolic in the sun and water. You can frequently see younger Namrah playing in the coral reef, trying to catch one of the many colourful fish. Teens show off their newest accessory, adults trade the latest gossip and the elders survey from afar. Certainly the place to be in all seasons!

>> The Lake : On the isle there is a lake, calm and serene. The lake itself is fed by the Great River, and drains into the reef. If you manage to get to the center of the lake, there is said to be a place at the very bottom that local's call the wedding of the waters. It is here, they say, that all that is powerful is kept hidden from everyone. Then again, you know how locals can get with their stories.

>> The Meadow : With wild grasses growing as tall as a teen, and insects of every sort creeping and crawling everywhere, how could you not love such a place? Playing tag, starting a game of hide and go seek and frolicking around in the tall grasses is what makes this area of Namiah a true pleasure to be. Acting as a casual hang out spot, Namrah from all over Zuri's territory spend some of their day here, whether it be in the shade of the trees surrounding it or nibbling on the nearest plant.

>> The Forest : Not far from the lovely meadow lies a gigantic forest that takes up most of the island. Trees that never seem to touch the bright blue skies, at times blocking it out, with plants and leaves that litter the forest floors. The forest is a great spot for those looking for shade to rest under, those looking for adventure and the young ones who want to play a game of hide-and-seek. Be warned though. At night it is said strange noises came be heard coming from deep within the depths of the forest, and those who venture in to find the source never return.

>> The Deadwood : The exact opposite of the forest on the lighter side of the island. The Deadwood is nothing but miles of dead trees and tree stumps. Crows and vultures circle this area when they are not out in the Desert, but still they come for one thing; to take life from the lifeless land. Namrah will find nothing but broken off branches. There is no food, unless they want to hunt the birds, lack of shelter, no shade, no happiness, no life.

>> The Mountains : Looming forever in the shadows are great rock mountains. Carved during the beginnings of time, they are barren, unforgiving reminders of the harsh circumstances that have desperately fallen during certain times. Near the bottom of the great rocks grass and other simple vegetation grow, but as the height becomes greater the vegetation starts to vanish and cold winds and snow start to cover the mountains creating cold weather and great blizzards.

>> Desert : Nothing but miles upon miles of reddish brown sands cover the heated area. Temperatures can reach anywhere from the nineties to the upper hundreds day by day. Vegetation lacks in the desert, except for the occasional dead looking shrubs and cacti. Random lizards and bugs can be found scurrying along the ground and hiding under rocks, but other than that, life is scarce.

Normal Namrah are the most abundant creatures on the island. These Namrah can be easily pointed out by their mix of canine and cat like looks which are thrown by the spikes on their backs and tuffs hanging from their ears. Like any animal, though they are generally peaceful and happy, each has a personality of their own, so humans should proceed with some caution. For an in-depth analysis of the Namrah, click here.

Q: How do I get one?
A: Namrah may be bought through sales, events, customs and giveaways.

Q: I won't be around for a sale. What can I do?
A: If allowed, you may get someone to proxy for you.

Q: Can I have one for free?
A: We used to give out free pets, but due to trouble caused by others we no longer gift out free pets. However, you may gain a free pet through games, contests and free raffles.

Q: Why does said person get a free edited one but not me?
A: Maybe said person has been really nice and has helped out the shop a lot. Maybe said person was deemed deserving my staff. It could be many reasons, but it is a fair reason, however, gifting is very rare these days.

Q: So you gave said person a free one but you wont give me one? That’s unfair!
A: To you it may be, but the shop has every right to give free pets to those we choose.

Q: I CAN’T WAIT, GIVE ONE TOO ME NOW!!!
A: Uh, no. You my yelling friend need to be patient and save your gold like everyone else.

Q: Why are they so expensive?
A: Namrah have 4 promised stages, Eggstone to Adult, and 3 extra potential stages, Elder, Teen Anthro and Adult Anthro. That is a total of 7 stages that a Namir can go through. A lot of time is put in to these wonderfully colored pets, so we promise you are getting your golds worth.

Q: Do you accept payment plans?
A: Sadly, no, no we don't. Payment plans have caused trouble and there are those who scam through payment plans. However, if you are trustworthy and a loyal customer we may change our minds.

Q: Do you do pet trades/bribes?
A: Yes, please see the "Shop" post for the proper link and see which colorists are open for trades.

Q: Do we have to save certs and images to our own server?
A: Not really, but we ask that you do, please. During growth the cert is deleted and replaces with the cert of the next stage, so if you want to save the cert of each stage, then save to your own server during growth. We are not responsible for what happens to your pet once it is given to you.

Q: How many may I own?
A: As many as you like, but please, only take on as many as you feel you can handle. If you find yourself not being able to keep track of them all, then maybe you need a break from super hoarding.

Q: Can we co-own a Namir?
A: Only Auction and Custom Namrah may be co-owned. 2 People may Co-own a custom. Up to 3 people may co-own an auction pet. Rules may be bent for special pets that are not auctioned or bought through customs.

Q: How long until my Namir grows?
A: Approximately 3 weeks between each stage.

Q: So, can an elder become an anthro?
A: Yes, Elders can go anthro through berry, deserving growth, and bribes.

Q: Can an anthro go elder?
A: Yes, but the only way to have an anthro go elder is through a HUGE bribe.

Q: When can they breed?
A: Namrah can breed once they reach Adulthood.

Q: Can same sexed Namrah breed?
A: Yes, and no. They don't actually "Breed", they adopt. Remember, RP is madatory.

Q: How many babies can a Namir have?
A: Anywhere from 2 to 4. More if you by berries or we love you. <3

Q: At what point can my Namir start looking for a mate/fling?
A: ADULTHOOD. Nothing sooner than this. Natural love may start to blossom early on, but a namir may not mate, have sex, or do anything of the sort until ADULTHOOD. Really, a namir may not even thing of such things until they have settled in to lone living.

Q: How can I get a familiar?
A: Through customs, sales, games, ect.

Q: Can I sell or give away my Namrah away if I don‘t want it anymore?
A: You may NOT sell your Namrah, but feel free to give them away.

Q: So, Can I join the guild even though I don’t own a Namir?
Yes, yes you can!

Q: Will you hire me?
Right now, we are not really looking for any new colorists, but it never hurts to send a PM with samples. If we need you then we will drop you a PM.

Q: How long will it take me to be removed from the gray list?
It depends on the offence you made. You could be there from a week to months. However, if you show good behavior you may get off quicker.

Q: Are they RP required?
No, unless it was bought under an rep required rule that is.

Q: Where do we RP?
You may RP in thread, the guild, out of shop, basically wherever you please.

Q: May I RP even if I do not own a Namir?
Feel free to interact with other people's namrah as yourself, that is if the owner says it is okay.
