Welcome to Everchange, where the world is run by ponies. While not always peaceful, they do their best to live among one another in harmony. Currently, as their creator sleeps peacefully in her castle, Everchange has lived a mostly pleasant life through the years. However, anything could change.

▷ 01 - - Follow the Gaia ToS at all times.
▷ 02 - - Be civil towards one another in-thread and the guild, whether or not you like a certain person. This also means be civil to newbies, even if they ask a thousand and one questions. Be welcoming to newbies, as they help our shop grow!
▷ 03 - - Try to monitor how you speak. This means please refrain from chat speak or spamming the thread. If you feel like the thread is dead and needs life, start a conversation instead of simply saying 'bump'. Chatter is always loved in the shop! Cursing, while allowed, should be kept at a minimum.
▷ 04 - - While you are absolutely free to vent in-thread, please spoiler anything that could be triggering, as well as warn in red what the content may contain. This helps protect those who cannot handle certain topics, and helps you get the help you need!
▷ 05 - - If you believe there is an issue with another customer that a staff member must know about, or you're aware of another breaking the rules, please contact us at the main mule!
▷ 06 - - Refrain from begging or whining for a character. We have plenty of events, and you will surely get a character through the various means we have. However, if you're caught whining, staff will be less likely to grant you a pony. Good behavior is rewarded, bad behavior is not tolerated.
▷ 07 - - When you enter an event, game, or another service we provide there is a chance you'll lose. Should you lose, please remain a good-sport. There will be other chances! However, if you win, please refrain from excessively bragging.
▷ 08 - - Do not copy, steal, alter, or mimic any of the graphics used in this shop. This includes but is not limited to banners, pony lines, user-made content, and such. You may place ponies you own or have permission to use in your signature, in banners, and such as long as you do not alter the lines.
▷ 09 - - All trades must be sent within 24 hours of acquiring a pony. Failure to do so may cause the staff who ran the game/event to re-roll for a new winner.
▷ 10 - - You may not use a mule to acquire more ponies. If you are caught doing so you'll immediately be blacklisted.
▷ 11 - - Do not sell a pony you've received here. If you don't want a pony anymore then please go to this thread!
▷ 12 - - If you are gaming a character off, you may only advertise 3 times a week that particular game. This includes in-thread and the Discord group chat!

▷ 01 - - You need to own a pony here before you can roleplay. You may not borrow another person's pony, whether or not you have their permission.
▷ 02 - - Humans do not exist in this world.
▷ 03 - - RP is not required to keep most ponies. RP does come with perks, however! Staff may never take a pony away due to lack of RP, unless the character is essential to the lore of the shop and a warning is given before the pony is homed that RP is required to keep them. Certain characters gamed off that influence how the shop runs will have warnings that they are RP required, so no one is blindsided.
▷ 04 - - When someone declines plots, RP, or a breeding that means no. Continuing to pester them will cause a staff member to intervene.
▷ 05 - - Evil characters are allowed, and loved! But, please refrain from RPing excessive violence in-guild or in-thread, as it can trigger a customer!
▷ 06 - - Certain things should never be RPed in public, whether in-thread or in-guild. This includes sexual violence, abuse, torture, and other grim topics. Death is permitted, as well as fighting, but please use common sense. If we catch an RP pertaining a subject we do not permit we will delete the RP without warning and contact the participants.
▷ 07 - - Plots pertaining to rape is not permitted. If we see in your plot thread you seeking a plot related to it, or the act being documented in your journal we will ask you to remove it. Backstories with this event in it will also be asked to be edited.
▷ 08 - - In the interest to make the shop run as smoothly as possible and as well as secure safety, people who cause actual harm to a staff-member that does not occur within the shop can be removed from the shop completely to ensure safety. This is only for extreme situations, where having that person within the shop will genuinely hurt a staff-member.
▷ 09 - - To join the guild you need 100 posts. If you do not have 100 posts but have a friend in the shop, said friend can vouch for you and we will accept you. If you lack a friend in the shop, consistent talking in-thread will allow entry into the guild. Just stick around!
▷ 10 - - If a staff-member quotes you with directions, please take any questions about said directions to that specific staff-member. Going to another staff-member can cause communication errors, and stress. If you are participating in customs/breedings/an event run by a specific staffer and need a direct answer about said event, please ask the person running the event.

▷ How do I get a pony?
There's various ways! We have customs and events going frequently, and RLC is always open. To get unique, one of a kind ponies you'll find your best luck during events! We also have free slots for you to convert any pony you may have had on the old lines! Just check the guild c:

▷ Can we co-own?
Nope! While we totally get wanting to own a pet with a friend, we understand it can come with some issues if a plot doesn't jive with both owners or a friendship runs its course.

▷ Can we RP without a cert?
No, you need to cert your character first.

▷ How long does it take for a pony to fully grow?
Baskets take a week to grow and foals take two weeks! Any future stages must be earned via the awakening system, found within the guild.

▷ Can same gendered pets breed?
Absolutely!

▷ Are the lines gendered?
No. No matter what lines you received your character on, you can choose from feminine, masculine, or androgynous for certing purposes. Your character can be any gender you wish.

▷ Do hybrids exist?
Currently, hybrids can only exist via RLC means or special event prizes. When ponies of different breeds have children together, their kids will be one race or the other. Hybrids are incredibly rare within the world, and as such can only be gotten through rare means. There will be more chances to get them down the road.

▷ How is polyamory seen?
Your character can have as many partners as they want! However, for breeding purposes, only three ponies can breed at one time to make children. This keeps colorists from getting overloaded with options.

▷ How many times can a pony breed?
There is no limit altogether, but they can't breed again until their previous litter is fully grown and certed.

▷ Do the characters follow typical MLP naming theme?
They do not! Your character can possess any name. You can choose to stick to how MLP names characters, if you wish!

▷ How close to the show is the shop?
The show and shop differ greatly! We have different interpretations on certain races, and the world is set in a more mature environment, as well as an entirely different location. Things that do carry over is the existence of cutie marks (although they're used differently), how they live (in a human-esque style), and some characters will be carried over throughout the lore. If you're looking for an exact replica of the show, you won't find it here. If you're looking for a more mature and alternate universe, you'll find your place here.

▷ These are not the same lines as before! What does that mean?
It means that while the ponies on the old lines cannot be RPed as is, you can still get them converted for free in our guild onto our new lines! c:

▷ Can Alicorns share domains?
They can not. There can only be one Alicorn who controls a certain domain. Domains can overlap, meaning there can be an Alicorn of Water and another host Rivers, however both Alicorns must have distinct differences from one another related to their powers. Alicorns who breed can have their children, if their domain is similar, inherit the parents powers, too. For more information look within the guild!

▷ Are cosplays allowed?
Yes! It's understood that a cosplay pet is not the character they're based off of. They can share a personality, name, and backstory, but they are not the singular character itself. There can be multiples of any character, meaning there can be 3 Inuyasha's.

As a note, do not order Pokemon cosplays yet. For secret reasons.

▷ What is the technology level?
The world is more advanced than the show. Ponies basically live in a world that very closely mirrors our own when it comes to tech. While they lack transportation like ours (other than trains, boats, and carriages), they possess cellphones, computers, and other fun electronics. If you're uncertain, just ask!

tab The world started as lonely planet, lacking anything to differentiate it from a large space rock. Lifeless and inhabitable, the planet seemed doomed to me nothing remarkable -- like most unknown planets in space. Then, a most peculiar event happened; a rift in time and space opened and deposited a small Alicorn onto its planet. The Alicorn was not like those who currently reside in Everchange. She did not need air, nor did she follow the same rules most living beings lived by. The inhabitable planet had its first life form; someone extraordinary and from a different world than the one she sat one.

tab It's unknown where she came from or her domain. Perhaps she has none. Perhaps she has many. She did not need air, water, food, or warmth. Yet, she wandered the planet searching for something. Anything. The only light she could find was the one that emitted radiantly from her own being. The only warmth she could feel was the warmth that clung to her bones. The only living creature she ever found was herself, and that didn't seem terribly exciting when one was so bitterly lonely. It's unknown why she didn't just leave; perhaps she couldn't. Whatever brought her to the planet might have been out of her control.

tab When she found nothing she simply laid down and closed her eyes. Sleep took her quickly. She nestled against the cold planet and curled into a tight ball, drifting into a long and deep sleep.

tab She did not wake again.

tab Instead, something else happened. From where she laid a single tree began to sprout, glittering like a thousand crystals as it coiled around her. Roots dug under her and tightened against her legs, protecting the sleeping Alicorn from a threat unknown. As the tree sprouted so did grass. The air began to warm as light erupted across the sky. Slowly, life came to the planet, starting from where she laid and inching out across the empty planet. Days turned into months and then years as the world began to blossom, and yet the Alicorn did not awaken to see her new home. She slept, peacefully and tucked safely in a crystal kingdom built just to protect her. Centuries turned and her dreams brought forth mountains, oceans, deserts, and more. Her dreams of a world she wished she could live within brought forth the world of Everchange, and yet she slept.

tab She dreamed of friends. Friends and family. With those dreams came the first ponies; Earth ponies. The were born without warning. A hundred adult Earth ponies awoke at the foot of her crystal kingdom, defenseless and confused to who they were. These Earth ponies began civilization, although it was a slow beginning as they had no guide. The world kept changing with her dreams, growing unstable as time went out and sometimes dangerous. Her dreams would erase towns and create monsters at times. Ponies watched their world change color over night only to return to normal the next. Seasons flickered in and out and time would loop.

tab She dreamed of stability and it came. Four Alicorns woke beside her, each feeling a deep power within them she did not possess. One was the Alicorn of Winter, who ran off into the north, where the world grew bitter cold and snow could be found wherever one stepped. Another was the Alicorn of Summer, who left to the south, where the warmth of the sun could be best felt. A third was the Alicorn of Spring, who took to the east, residing in a land of plants and rain. Lastly, the final one was the Alicorn of Fall, who settled in the west, where the trees bore many colors and a crisp wind rattled through the land.

tab Lesser Alicorns were born next, left at the foot of the kingdom like their Earth brethren. Gifted with domains, the world finally found a constant as these selected ponies kept it in check. Unicorns and Pegasus' found themselves born shortly after, and with them came a great leap in technology and civilization. Ponies began to explore the world and conquer it as their Four Queens ensured their safety. Ponies became the most abundant species on Everchange.

tab Ponies of various and unique breeds began appearing, finding themselves more comfortable within the region they were born in. The Four Alicorns named their lands similar to themselves; Winter's Breath, Summer's Touch, Spring's Rain, and Fall's Harvest. Ponies who left their home to visit another seasonal land would find themselves uncomfortable, but it did not stop them from mingling. Eventually, they named their world Everchange.

tab Centuries have passed and Everchange still grows. Named The Dreamer by her grateful subjects, the sleeping Alicorn remains protected within her castle, never seen or disturbed.

tab The Four Alicorns, a name they use to refer to the original seasonal Alicorns, rule their respective lands within Everchange. Everchange has five major sections to the world; Winter's Breath, Summer's Touch, Spring's Rain, Fall's Harvest, and Dream Valley. Each location has various towns, cities, notable places within them, which can be found here.

tab Winter's Breath is to the far north, where the border is covered in large icicles that protrude from the earth. Spaces within the icicles allow entry. From that point on, the land grows colder the closer you get to the Winter Castle. The Winter Castle is where Wynter, the Alicorn of Winter, lives. She resides there, ensuring her kingdom remains safe from threat. Her word is law upon those lands. She rules the land without much input from those who call Winter's Breath home.

tab Summer's Touch is to the far south, where the border is less seen and more felt. When someone crosses it they instantly feel the temperature change to a more dry heat. As one grows closer to the Summer Castle, they will feel hotter. The Summer Castle is where Summri, the Alicorn of Summer, lives. She resides there, ensuring her kingdom remains safe from threat. She rules without much input from her subjects, but she's a warmth who offers safety and shelter to those who find themselves without home or food.

tab Spring's Rain is to the far east, where the border has a clear line of various flowers. As one grows closer to the Spring Castle, they will see more plants and wildlife roaming around. The Spring Castle is where Spira, the Alicorn of Spring, lives. She resides there, ensuring her kingdom remains safe from threat. She is bubbly and light, often visiting larger towns and cities within her kingdom and throwing large feasts.

tab Fall's Harvest is to the far west, where at the border the trees abruptly have fall colored leaves.. As one grows closer to the Fall Castle, they will see more farms and feel more of a breeze. The Fall Castle is where Falyrn, the Alicorn of Fall, lives. She resides there, ensuring her kingdom remains safe from threat. Her more morbid and morose nature doesn't make her cruel, but she keeps to herself unless needed. She donates seeds to local farms to encourage farm growth.

tab And right in the middle of all these kingdoms resides Dream Valley, where the seasons change over time. The months run from January to December (like in our world). When it is time for a season to change, one of the Four Alicorns will step forward and change to the appropriate season. The Four Alicorns have signed an agreement that they will not change the season when it is not their turn, and they will not intervene when it is time to step down. Dream Valley is where those who do not wish to live within a permanent season go.


▷ Current Season: Winter

tab Every pony is aligned to a season, no matter where they were born. The alignment is up to the customer, but once a customer certs a character they cannot change their alignment! The alignments are below:

Winter: When within a territory where winter is present, they will feel stronger, have an easier time with magic, and healthier. Winter ponies have a harder time feeling cold, however they get warm quicker than others. They grow uncomfortable in places ruled by summer.

Summer: When within a territory where summer is present, they will feel stronger, have an easier time with magic, and healthier. Summer ponies have a harder time feeling warm, however they get colder quicker than others. The grow uncomfortable in places ruled by winter.

Spring: When within a territory where spring is present, they will feel stronger, have an easier time with magic, and healthier.

Fall: When within a territory where fall is present, they will feel stronger, have an easier time with magic, and healthier.

tab There are some stereotypes behind each alignment, as some believe that winter ponies are colder emotionally, and others believe summer ponies are more hotheaded. Another common thought is that spring ponies are more careless, and fall ponies are too spontaneous. While these aren't necessarily true, it doesn't stop some ponies from tossing these stereotypes around.

tab In Everchange cutiemarks do not exist. While we are a MLP shop, we have removed them from the lore and instead focus on the freedom of choice a pony has. This doesn't stop tattoo parlors calling tattoos on butts cutiemarks, but they are just that; tattoos.

tab There are four stages a pony can go through; basket, foal, adult, and awakened, although the last stage must be earned through a system (or RLC'ed). Baskets will grow in a week and foals will grow in two weeks! Adults stay adults unless they achieve the awakening requirements.

There are various breeds within the world. Not all that exist are here. As new breeds are released they'll come with new lore, events, and chances to expand on the world! Keep in mind most new breeds aren't new to the world of Everchange; they just haven't been discussed in RP or META's until their release!





▷ Earth: They possess a natural strength and an almost infinite endurance. Any work done with bare hooves is an easy task for most of them! They are more likely to do manual labor work, such as farming or construction. Earth ponies value hard work and community.

▷ Pegasus: Harnessing the ability to walk on clouds and fly as far as they wish, Pegasus ponies enjoy a life of freedom. They are well suited for exploration and weather prediction. While they value freedom in expression and choice, Pegasus' are also one of the more accepting breeds as a whole.

▷ Unicorn: Magic comes easy to them, although they'll forever lament the fact they can't use shadow, blood, or dark magic. The pioneers behind modern technology, Unicorns are clever and incredibly magical. They value knowledge and carrying on family traditions.

▷ Aquatic: Lovers of water and all it entails, this breed loves to adorn themselves with beautiful trinkets and submerge themselves underwater. They value family and community, often schooling together when traveling and connecting a network of beauty-related businesses together.

▷ Dragon: Solitary creatures, Dragons prefer to live with one another in tiny villages secluded at the top of mountains. When they do find their special somepony, though, they're incredibly protective. They value their chosen ponies and obtaining treasures that make them happy.

▷ Pixie: They prefer to live a life surrounded by positive energy. Pixies want to give back to the earth and help it grow. They value life and erasing the negative, although at times this can cause them to not acknowledge their own feelings. Somehow they can still fly despite having such thin wings!

▷ Bat: Mischievous and curious, Bats like to travel the world! They don't tend to gather together or live within large communities but they're a friendly breed and seek out connections with others. They are known for being impulsive with their feelings.

▷ Ghoulie: A breed that has only recently come out of hiding after secluding themselves away when the other breeds turned on them, they're the only breed who can use shadow magic and it's caused them to receive some unfair judgement. They look scary, but Ghoulies value family more than anything.

tab Pets are animal companions that are cared for or belong to a specific pony. There are various races of pets within Everchange, and more are constantly being found.

tab If you're seeking a pony then chances are you want to know how to get one! Luckily, we almost always are active. There are various ways to get a pony, and while not all will be listed below, most can be found here!

Raffles: Customers claim tickets in hopes of winning a character. Only those RNGed will win, and the order of the winners is the order character's as distributed. Some flaffles are free, while others cost a very small fee or require a customer to post something specific!

Games: Typically free, games are primarily held by staff! However, customers may game off stones from one of their breedings in attempts to find a suitable owner. Games range from stroke of luck activities, RP contests, quote games, and more! My Four Seasons will try to ensure at least one game is run a month, so keep your eyes peeled!

Auctions: Auctions are rather rare, and typically display character's who are special in some way, whether that be by being a rare race of having something unique. Customers bid gold, and the highest bid by the end date wins.

Newbie Freebies: Brand new newbies (those with 0 ponies) can post in this thread with a palette to receive a semi-custom pony. We will choose the race and edits we use, as well as stage.

Customs/Bribes: Customers may enter concepts related to the type of slots currently open. Every colorist will have an art thread where customers can request customs for the normal shop price, or even offer more gold in an attempt to bribe the colorist. It is up to the staff member how they pick their slots, and when they open their thread for offers.

RLC: You can use real-life currency to receive a custom, breeding, or even request a new breed! A link will be placed here once previous RLC from the old shop are finished! We will not discuss RLC on Gaia, so please take any and all questions to the email listed within this link. More info can be found here.

Breedings: When breedings open, customers may enter character's in an attempt to receive children. Every colorist will have an thread where customers can request breedings. Sometimes, special breedings will open that will not be limited to one staff thread.

tab Ponies who wish for biological children can approach the matter of reproduction in two ways; magically or physically. We all know how babies are made, which can lead to pregnancy. Unfortunately, this only works for those who biologically can give birth, but those who can't may request aide magically. The magical option allows those involved in creation to still make a biological child. All involved will feel nauseous during a typical pregnancy period but neither gain weight or feel their body change. When the general time for a pregnancy period would come to an end those involved will go to sleep and awaken to newborns. Sometimes, only one involved in the creation of life will experience these symptoms. It's entirely up to the Alicorn of Fertility. Those who select the magical option do not need to be physically intimate; all they need to do is either seek the Alicorn of Fertility out and receive her blessing, or be randomly selected.

tab Not all parents are willing. The Alicorn of Fertility sometimes feels cruel and will select those who are within a close proximity and "bless" them with children. This is always a magical affair; parents will not physically grow a child inside of them and will give birth the magical method. Sometimes, she just thinks certain ponies will make interesting kids. Other times they've angered her for one reason or another. There's also the chance she's just abusing her power, which.... sadly happens.

tab The Alicorn of Fertility doesn't control who can get pregnant through physical means, but she entirely watches over magical birth. She also can influence the fertility of a pony, giving them more or less for a period of time. She's useful to seek out if you're having trouble!

General Rules:

• Gender does not matter when it comes to breeding.
  
• Hybrids (mixing a pony with the traits of more than one race) can only be obtained through special events and RLC.
  
• All breedings within the shop have been given baskets enchanted to protect newborns.
  
• All owners involved can only keep up to two babies per breeding.
  
• Blood related ponies cannot breed.
  
• After breeding, a pony must wait until their litter is fully grown and certed to breed again.
  
• Ponies go through the pregnancy process for 9 months in-character.
  
• Ponies do not need partners to breed with. If they breed by themselves, the Alicorn of Fertility will mix their DNA with someone else at random. Out of character, that breeding is considered a rogue breeding and the other parent will not be created.
  
• Only those on the adult base can breed.
