Debatable and up in the air. It's still a fictional take on our modern Earth, even if psychics are a provable thing here. UFOs, ghosts, conspiracy theories, illuminati, these all may exist or are at least still touched on with the same level of interest/suspicion as in our society. We're only factually proving psychics here so if a character wants to believe in aliens or ghosts or what have you there's nothing stopping them, just as long as we don't tread into messing with them too much. Leave the real weirdness with psychic powers or mental worlds.
