My spirit guide... he is this middle-aged man all decked out in white, very white! When I was younger I saw him a lot... now that I am older, I don't mention such things lest they put me on an antipsychotic. :B

I get deer, and once I saw a fox sleeping under the bushes. :B It always surprises me how small foxes are in real life! They look so big on Animal Planet.

My dog used to look so much like a fox that some kids nicknamed him the 'foxdog', kinda like the term 'wolfdog' rofl

Well, if there aren't any wolves or bears around, there's really no predator for the deer, right?

*nods* and....gorgeous as they are...I don't really want either in my back yard too much.

Dogs CAN be a threat, but that requires a pack of strays. Also dangerous to people.

Aww man, deer are really hard to get rid of. It seems that there are more and more, in spite of all of the housing being put up... o_O I get raccoons as well and they steal birdfeeders, they are so much worse than squirrels! The coyotes in my area were all hunted and killed a while ago, though. :> So now the beavers and muskrats are having a party. ;B

I'm not sure what the set up would be for getting human art. Thal CAN draw them...and so can I.

Although part of the interest in playing a human I suspect will also deal with the time period. :3 Farming, Famine, Plague....Wolves and everything as a real threat. Humans probably didn't feel so very much the top of the food chain then.

I think so. There may be some diversion from actual history and such though. Probably not so much as to have a total womens lib movement though, lol. ^_^

Though in Celtic times (assuming the novel goes back that far, I forget the dates) women had a very high place in society. *history nerd for British Isles history*

I haven't gotten that far in the book, so it will depend partialy on Thal, and what sort of setting we want. It is a fantasy after all. And the crash of women was very sharp. But yes I am aware they once had a much better standing. There's always a complication with trying to force historical accurasy, especially with gender superiority issues, thats my one fear.
As soon as you set up an environment where one is superior in society, you get half a dozen people who want someone who defies those rules, but may not be willing to accept the fact that they might, in terms of good rp, be outcast for that rebelion rather than embrased.
