Surprise, surprise! What's this?

Though this time of the year covers Lavarin a blanket of soft white snow, much like traditional winter, the eastern part of the island remains green and warm, though slightly wet with the occasional rain.

Seems like the deity of East doesn't fancy the cold, hm? That's just as well, because Little Lavas is going to have different 'winter' event ^_~

Chocolates make great gifts for any occasion, not just during the month of February wink

This Christmas, Little Lavas offers these delightful treats for this year's gifting purposes. You may choose to eat them, but we highly recommend leaving them around. You may just find yourself a new friend come Christmas ;D

Each truffle, if left alone or displayed for a certain period, will attract a furry little mouse - a Little Lava mini. They can be RP'ed like ordinary Lavas, and need not be 'attached' to a canid or equus (unless the owner chooses to do so). Below is an example of one that has been 'caught'.





Ordering info

There are two types of chocolate truffles - milk chocolate and dark chocolate. There isn't much difference between the two, except the gender of mouse attracted to them. It seems that males prefer the dark variation while females are more attracted to the milk chocolate variety.

Each truffle costs 1,000g, and will attract a random colored mini.

You may only buy ONE for yourself, on the condition that you've bought at least 2 chocolates for others. It's the season of giving after all ;3
There's no limit on how many you can buy for and receive from others however ^^

1. When ordering, please use the form below and post it in the thread, unless you'd like to remain anonymous. If so, you may PM the form to Little_Lavas, this mule account.

2. Start the trade immediately and kindly include the page number of your form in the trade title. Truffles will only be sent out once you've confirmed the trade. Oh, and all trades should be sent to this account, Little_Lavas.

3. Make sure your friend(s) have their PMs set to public. If not, we'll send the certs your way =)

Welcome to the trail.

Walk down the worn pathway, and you may just find strange and colorful blobs, as well as an occasional tuft of soft, fluffy fur. The blobs, especially the essences, are the highlight of this event. Why? Read on ^_^

A total of 7 slots will be sold off by way of dice-rolling, and winners may choose and mix the color of goop in their pendants. Also included is a natural 'essence' - a tuft of fur from Earth animals. This will influence the markings of said Lava. Naturally, the color of the goop(s) in the chosen for the pendants will determine the color of the Lava it will attract.

Confused? The examples below may explain it better.



Markings are not full-body, and appear randomly on the pelt of the Lava. All markings are unique, and no two Lava will have exactly the same markings. Colors, both for the body and marking(s), will be up to the colorist.

An owner is free to decided not to pick an essence. In this case, the colors chosen may be solid as in the fourth example (yes, that's Taran XD), or fade into one another as seen in the last example. Also, an owner may also choose two or more of the same color. If this happens, the attracted Lava will show different shades of the color, as shown in the last example.

These semi-customs are only available in full-growing stages, starting with an empty pendant; empty, that is, until you've filled it in. With our help, of course. Each pendant will cost 8,000g

.. colored blobs(goop) are free of charge, limited to two colors per person. Additional blobs are charged at 2,000g per color.
.. essence is also free of charge, though limited to one tuft only. Additional tufts are charged at 3,000g apiece.

Winners may also choose the gender of the Lava they are attempting to attract. As for species, only the regular canid, regular equus and drake may be taken. Rares - unicorns and double-tailed canids are not available, sorry.

Available essences, and the types of markings they give:

Giraffe - square or 'boxy' patches, usually close together
Dairy cow or pinto - random shaped patches. Patch may be small or large (as in pinto horses)
Tiger - stripes
Leopard - leopard 'eye' spots
Cheetah - regular spots
Tip - markings on the face or limbs, generally fading in into the base. Eg. fox
Dapple - um... dapples? Like those seen on dapple horses

Only one of each essence is for sale. The exception to this is if a person decides to buy an additional tuft. In that case, he or she may choose whichever marking desired, even when it's already 'taken'.

As for blobs, the available colors are shown in the first image of this post wink
The blobs don't represent the actual color - once mixed, goops may be darker or lighter in hue. However, there is no limit as to how many times a color can be taken. Hurrah!

Important information on how the sale will work and what you should do is below. Please pay close attention.

As mentioned, this will be a dice-rolling sale. The mule will post an opening post and roll a dice, so pay attention to what she rolled, and what dice she used. Whoever matched the number she rolled wins a slot, and technically a pendant.

1. The sale will only start when the shop mule posts in the thread stating so in BIG, BOLD (and green) letters. Only roll for a slot after the post. Rolls before the starting post will be ignored.

2. Only one slot per person, and one slot per successful roll. You may proxy for a friend, but you must roll separately, ie different post for different person.

3. Send all trades to the shop mule, Little_Lavas. All trades are to be sent and confirmed within 24 hours after winners are announced. If no trades are received, the pendant will go to the next winner. Also, because this is a semi-custom, we will only start working on your pendant after the trade has been confirmed on your end.

4. Winners are to PM an order form to the shop mule, Little_Lavas. There is no time limit for sending in forms, so please think carefully on what you want. Once we have received the form, we will not allow any edits. [The form will be posted when winners are announced]

5. Finally, patience are appreciated! Unlike regular flatsales, these pendants are colored after the sale, not before, so it will take some time before your cert is ready. Also, to ensure growths happen on time, we will only release the cert when all stages are colored ^_^
