- Be respectful of the shop and of others. We're all here to have a good time, and there's no reason to pick fights or be rude. We can handle ourselves like grown internet people.
Do not steal, copy, or edit the artwork. This goes for shop art and the art of other users. If you need art to use as an example for your pets there are plenty of free resources elsewhere.
Follow the [ Daisy Code ]. It outlines expected conduct in roleplay communities.
You may not resell your pet for any reason. If you no longer wish to keep your pet you may rehome it for free yourself, or give it back to the shop to rehome.
- Roleplay is not required. It is a perk to owning a pet, and may grant bonuses in the future, but we will never rehome your pet for lack of roleplay.
Do not direct link! To minimize stress on our server, please save pet images to your own hosts.
Do not use photobucket links. Photobucket has changed their policy to disallow third party hosting, and their links have been breaking. If you need recommendations for other hosts just ask!

- Off the coast of southern Africa lies an island that was occupied by humans centuries ago. In the center of the island lies a massive cinder cone volcano, or at least the remnants of one. The last humans perished during the last eruption, their villages too close to the base as the structure exploded. All that remains now are the species that had been smart enough to push to the edges of the island during the eruption, and those that had immigrated since.
Humans have left it forgotten, allowing the next apex predator to thrive. Lions rule these lands, at peace without anthropogenic interference.

- ｖｏｌｃａｎｏ Dormant for centuries, the volcano is the central point of the island. At the base of the volcano ash has eroded away enough to begin to reveal what remains of the human structures. Lions covet what shiny metals and torn fabrics they can recover, though there is little they can do to modify them.

ｄｅｓｅｒｔ As the westerlies push air to the east, air dries out over the volcano. The result is a tiny desert at the base of the volcano to the east. Few lions live here, but those that do tend to be taller and thinner, with less mane extension.
ｃｏａｓｔｓ While more lions avoid water, those that live along the coasts have discovered an abundance of fish in the shallows, and crustaceans in the sand. Meals here are smaller and more frequent, but more reliable with low competition. For some, it's a balance that they find worth the trouble.

- ｃｕｂ Cubs are young lions anywhere from newborn to newly weaned. They rely on the strength of the parents and the pride to protect them in the first few months of their life. They spend much of their time learning valuable skills they'll need as adults - hunting, defending, tracking. Their only responsibilities in their prides are absorbing all that they're taught and living the fullest young life they can. OOC, this stage lasts two months.
ａｄｕｌｔ Adults take on all the real responsibilities of the pride. They protect, feed, and entertain each other like the family that they are. As adults lions can breed, take on larger roles in their prides, or split off to start their own prides. However, many adults don't even have prides. They wander as vagabonds, taking up unoccupied spaces temporarily. It is up to them to decide what to do with their lives, and the possibilities are endless.
