Dapper Entrepreneur

Hey I don't read a lot of books, my english is pretty decent! (I prefer encyclopedia sometimes)

Also, I went to that hell place too yeah... when I was 12 on a school trip xd ALL OF US WERE 12 WHAT WAS OUR TEACHER THINKING??!!!?! (later on during dinner she was lecturing us to finish our food or else we'll be submerged in boiling oil when we die)

Dapper Noob

I would adore Lab audiobooks. That'd be awesome!

Ahhh! Just saw the last pages "theme park" what is going on over there?! That would be so scaryfor a child!!!

Spooky Codger

the woman who wrote the animorphs books wrote another series about a bunch of kids that traveled through a bunch of different mythologies trying to find a friend, it was a bit more geared to teens but it was good too *<*

lmao what a field trip, geeze

King Bunny

That's... scary! Your teacher was crazy. O nO

Dapper Entrepreneur

Lmao it was an unforgettable trip, to say the least. Not to mention the haunted room we got at the hotel! And then a bunch of our friends came to sleep together because our room was the coldest (their rooms were warm) whether or not it was due to it being haunted!

Dapper Noob

I would not have known what to do with myself. When I was a kid, I didn't do well with horror-esque things. xD

Eloquent Giver

fun fact: i've never read or watched anything animorphs, and i don't believe i've ever read or watched anything from r l stein (which with my affinity for creepy things all my life YOU'D THINK I HAD)

i also honestly can't remember if i read a lot of high fantasy! i remember reading those books about that ranch dog (i can't remember his name), and i read MOST of a series of unfortunate events (all but the last book -- and out of order, i might add). i didn't get super into reading until i was in high school.

now i want to read all the things as a 26 year old who's about to have to find a couple of jobs LOL

Pure-hearted Seraph

I liked the Animorph books for their covers but never really opened one D: I was usually the kid hunting down all the horse books at the book fairs lol

Yep! I also liked looking at the Animorph covers but I never got into reading the actual book series.;;;; I was way more into The Magic Treehouse books, Harry Potter, and some other ones I can't remember right now. xD OR books that came with things! Like a stuffed animal or a bracelet or a craft. Those were my JAM.

Friendly Conversationalist

Man I loved to read (still do), but I also never got too into the Animorphs books, I think I only read the first few? Harry Potter was getting big around the time I was in middle school which is when I got into it, but for the most part I read anything I could get my hands on.

I was also uh, really into reading classics pretty early on. I read Phantom of the Opera and Moby d**k in 4th grade fndnfds

AHH I feel the same, Wings! I loved the books with the extra goodies. ;__; I miss Scholastic Book Faires, hopefully I will get to relive them when I finish my teaching degree --

How could I forget. Harry Potter? Hahah yeah, I read those as a kid too.

@GlassKitteh: Have you read the Silver Brumby series?

@ Kyou: why do you suspect the hotel is haunted?

Space Bat

I remember I really got into the Redwall series in late elementary school...
And speaking of 4th grade reads, that was the year I read Lord of the Rings for the first time (I was impatient for Return of the King to come out)

Just chiming in to say I would LOVE Lab audiobooks if there were some honey-voiced person to read them. *^* that would be amazing.

Man, I love hearing about what everyone was into reading, because I feel like everyone's first loves kind of show in their writing styles! <3!
@Arana: I enjoyed the redwall series too but there aren't many here. My first Redwall was Mattimeo. Omg...the food described there...

Oh, I read the freeglader series too. I like those.

@Atma: Something fishy is building up in Cesc's plot huh? XD
