Ah he was an essential part of my childhood.

When I was young and had a lot of depression I'd listen to his music. I felt he wasn't afraid to be different, to be himself and it was comforting. My parents, while having no idea why I would like that type of music, were supportive. Even bought me some of his CDs you had to be 16 to buy due to the lyrics.

Over here they just censor/blip out the bad words. (yes even on the CDs) It's why over here piracy is so widespread lmao. We want our romantic kiss scenes in movies!! D<

XD Oh yes they put warnings on there! It was his Gold Album, one of the songs is called p***y Control. To give you an idea XD

But they have double versions of songs here. Like you have the clean version where they change the bad word to an accepted word or blank it out. Like Enrique Iglesias, he has a song that's called "Tonight I'm Loving You." That's the clean title and lyric. The other version has the "f-word" in it XD

That sorta thing. So people who couldn't care less about foul words can listen to what they want. And people with more sensitive ears can have the other.

But there are a lot of songs nowadays that they don't bother with clean versions but they're huge hits, and in order to make it available on radio stations over here, they mangle the song up hilariously lmao. Like The Weeknd's "Starboy", it sounds so funny on radio over here. Wish I can show you lmao

I was at work and couldn't believe it. So I ran to the bathroom to check my phone cried in the breakroom. I lost it during his funeral on TV.
