Shy: *with eyes almost swallowed by the black of his pupils, he leaps at the protoform, his pounce not yet entirely graceful but smooth, capturing the proto carefully between his large paws* Hnn? *blinking and getting the hunter out of his eyes, he lifts his head and ears towards Seth, familiar but also puzzled if they'd met properly* How can you tell it's a she? *peering down, he spread his 'thumbs,' peering at the orange ball held captive between the pads of his paws*

Eli: *has turned back to the playpen and the still sphere inside, poking it gently. Was Chione 'asleep'...?*

Chione: *wriggles a bit at the touch. Still here!*

Eli: *a bit relieved >>; * ...perhaps you should join the others for a bit. *moves to place the sphere outside the pen*

Shy: *bowing his head, he snuffles the sphere, giving it an experimental lick before lifting his head again, attentive at the mention of the two elders* Oh. *tentatively releasing the proto so it could roll freely again, he delicately began to bat at it again, sitting on his haunches like a proper feline* And who is this? *the tiger meant the sphere, seeming to sorely lack manners yet, glancing to Eli briefly as the prospect of playing was far more engrossing*

Seth: That would be my little sister, Aine. The greenish one over here is Chione. *can't really blame him for batting at the sphere. Feline 'play' instincts could be very strong as he himself knew all too well*

Doing good~ In summer classes myself, so studying for the first exam a bit. 4 week classes...yay? lol. (at least the 'final' isn't comprehensive hahaha /small mercies)

Chione: *wobbles into the great unknown~ Rollrollroll~*

Shy: *turning his head when the other was indicated, he uttered a soft whuffle* Oh! *nosing the sphere, he bounded towards the other indicated sphere, carefully picking it up with his sharp teeth, the likes of which barely fit at all* Haeth 'unnie. *the 'tastes funny' didn't quite make it out of his face properly as he trotted back to the other proto, depositing the mint-green ball next to the orange one* There, have a friend your size! *curving his tail to the side, he then glanced to the kuppy, not really sure what to make of that one* I'm dandy. *and then his head snapped to the cheetah* Brother-in-law? How'd that work? *he peered dubiously between the two*

Seth: XD; Well, they've been rolling around a lot, so I imagine they taste like floor... *and permanent marker in Aine's case thanks to his mother's 'pokeball' decoration. >>; As for the tiger-Hytes question...* I'm married to his sister. ^^ *which was undoubtedly the best decision of his life* I don't think I caught your name, by the way.

Aine-sphere: *bumps lightly against Chione-sphere*

Eli: o__o; *what is that boy doing with his daughter's poor protoform sphere* ... *...okay, well, the kuppy supposes the other Hyte meant well...this time...* My sister who's also a Hyte, like us. *well, one of his Hyte sisters, rather. He didn't need the family tree recitation, Eli was sure...* Where you're part tiger, she's part kraken. Giant squid. Loads of tentacles. *wonders if the kid would be tempted to bite Dacj too >>; *

Chione: ?! *what's going...oof! Suddenly there's ground again. And tapping. Confusion~*

Shy: *perking his ears, they flickered between Seth, Eli and the proto's, rounding his tail in front of himself to keep the spheres from rolling away* His sister is a monster? *his eyes flit over Eli, trying to see where tentacles were hidden on the kuppy -- clearly not piecing together that the two were related outside of genes* What are you? *the question was quizzical and not meant to offend, then glancing to Seth* Do I get to meet her too?

Seth: *oh Eli, he just had to go there. And so much for getting the other's name... He shakes his head at the barrage of questions* Not a monster, just a squid hybrid. *well, kraken, but kraken were still sorta squid* And I'm sure you'll meet her sometime soon. She likes to visit Hytech on occasion herself. *decides to let Eli handle the question of his 'heritage' on his own*

Aine-sphere: *bumps the other sphere once more before rolling around the unseen tail instead. Another obstacle~*

Eli: *faintly amused at the summation - the kid wasn't exactly 'wrong' since Dacj liked to joke about the tentacle monster thing now that he was less...trigger-y about it* I'm a kuppy - part Turkish Angora housecat and part Golden Retriever dog. Dacj's my adopted sister. I'm actually related to my parents genetically though; I'm one of the few Hytes that is. You might meet my mother sometime as well, she's the donor for the cat half of me. *supposes throwing a Castform into the family tree really doesn't make it that much 'worse'...it was complicated a long time ago.*

Chione: ? *rolls into the tail as well, surprised at this new obstacle. It's not hard?*

Shy: *the child looked between the two as they talked, piecing things together slowly; he found it strange, but he knew at least that much wasn't polite to speak of* K-uppy. That's cute. *smiling toothily, he curled his tail more tightly around the spheres, gently rolling them together* I'm Shy. *bright blue eyes again turned to the protoforms, ears flickering back and forth*

Seth: *smiles* Well then, it's a pleasure to meet you, Shy. *though admittedly the name amused him, considering the other appeared to be anything but shy* Met many others around here so far?

Aine-sphere: ! *seemed she was being moved again. Attempts to bump back against the outside force. That was how it worked, right?*
