Some say there are strange places, where the elements merge. Other's talk of people that come from shooting stars. To all questions unsanswered let this stand as monument.

There are two turning points throughout an Elemental's life. Once, when they turn 17 and become tested for their powers. The second is something each Elemental must decide for themselves. When to go on their ascension Quest. Not every Elemental chooses to do this, and those that don't are not looked down on. This Quest can be dangerous, it has sent countless cocky Elementals to insanity or even death. But it has also granted power to those that survive far beyond what any mere mortal can acheive.

Teenage Quest: Shrouded in mystery, no one knows what goes on during testing. Those adults who have gone through it refuse to tell anyone, and people wonder if they even can. All will be revealed when the time comes.


Ascension Quest:

Ascension(Elemental) Quest: By ELECTING to do this you agree not to whine, cry, get mad or cause problems regardless of the outcome. You're character *can* die during this. Passing the Ascension Quest opens up the new Elemental stage that is completely custom lineart done to you're specifications, within reason. A Water Elemental will not be a Pheonix.. Just like a Fire Elemental will not be a merman.

Failing will mean one of two things, madness or death. They both get custom lineart, and in the case of death you have the choice to be reborn or well.. not. We advise being reborn..

The Particulars: The quest is normally done in two stages. The first stage is to tutor a new elemental. Many people wonder if this really helps, but those who have not done so, are always the ones to die or return crazy.

The second stage is highly personal. One must become attuned to one's element and master it completely. This seems a simple enough step, but it becomes highly dangerous. No two people have the same second stages.



Side Quests: Occasionally there will come some minor quests. Sign up, as most of them have plot implications. The brackets put the status on them. First bracket is the status for signing up, the second is the amount of people available, third is the age group, and last denotes if it is a plot event or not. If the event is not a plot event it is done in a journal or personal rp thread and may result in changes to the child.
