General:
• Follow all Gaia rules & ToS.
• Use common sense.
• No flaming, fighting, drama, emotional manipulation, etc. in the thread.
• RLC is not available at this time.
• Please only PM the mule if you have any issues/concerns and are NOT on the Discord Server.
• Don't steal or manipulate the art or claim it is yours. You cannot color or edit your own Kat (exceptions for coloring are CYO events).
• Keep advertising of other shops/websites/non-Faekat-related things limited to your signature.
• Payment for paid events is due in 72 hours. If payment is not received, your pet will be forfeit.
• Do not ask someone to give you their pet, to co-own their pet, or for a baby from a breeding you are not part of. If they want to co-own/give you a pet they will come to YOU.
• Owners cannot add a rank themselves. Only Management can grant those. In regard to Deity-related ranking, these ranks must go in the rank slot and does not change the race of the Faekat. Management must approve all Deity-related Ranks before implementation can occur/be valid.
• Owners cannot change specialties for their pets without approval. Specs must be appropriate to the race.
• You cannot give away/trade Faekats unless permission is granted by management.
• You cannot sell your Faekats under any circumstance.
• Non-cosplay pets may not be based on Cosplay characters. Your kat can pretend to be a magical girl if they want, but they are not Sailor Moon. You also cannot use a Cosplay character's name to name your non-cosplay Kat (You can use Harry, but not Harry Potter).
• If your Cosplay Character intends on having the special powers of the actual character it’s based on this may affect the race of the Kat and needs special approval from Management for a race change from the standard Cosplay race.
• Try not to monopolize custom slots. If you have many customs pending creation, try not to bogart them. Share the love!
• While this shop is not roleplay required, we expect you to hang around at least. After six months of complete inactivity, Elite Faekat (Deities, Freaks, Cosplays, etc.) slots will be available to be claimed by active members of the Faekat Community. If you are experiencing a situation where you need to be inactive for a lengthy period of time speak with Management. You will not lose your original pet, just the slot they occupy.
• Do not snipe in our auctions. You must show interest at least halfway through to participate in the end.
• If you want to host a Faekat-related event please request permission from Management via the Event Permission Thread before hosting it. Please be aware that Colorists are not obligated to provide pets for any event. You may request assistance but you are not guaranteed any prizes from colorists.
• If you want a thread in the Guild deleted or moved please mark in the title of the thread what you want to happen.
Roleplay:
• Do not god-mode any non-god Faekat (Even with Deities please make sure the other player is aware of what will be happening). If your RP is going to include elements of god-moding you MUST clear it with the other player first.
• Respect all Deities if your character knows they are a Deity. If you disrespect a God, well, it would not end up well for your kat.
• This should be a given but no incest, rape or child abuse allowed in roleplay. Follow all Gaia ToS rules. If your roleplay is going to fall into heavy or darker themes consider a trigger warning in the title. If your Roleplay begins to slip into spicy territory, please fade to black at an appropriate time.
• Do not police how other people choose to play their Kats, even if you have given them a Kat. If something violates a rule and you have a valid reason for being concerned bring it to Management to look into. Do not take matters into your own hands.
• Owners cannot play an opposite alignment than the one granted to them. Ebil is Ebil. Good is Good. Special alignments must be approved by management.
Breeding:
• No selling/trading/guilting others for babies.
• Try not to monopolize breedings/pairings. We all want breedings/pairings but we all also need to share.
• Faekats can be any sexuality.
• If you are submitting a normal breeding, you are required to have the updated cards of both parents on hand, as well as permission to breed with the other kat's owner.
• Pet owners can NOT design their baby. All pet owners can do is request GENDER.
• Names may repeat unless it's a cosplay name.
• Permission is required from both owners for a breeding to be valid unless it is a special circumstance where one of the mates has an MIA owner. Please ask Management for permission before proceeding.
• Faekats can only have two eggs standard. Self-breeding results in One egg unless you are giving away the second egg (This goes for Events, CC's, Bribes, etc.). With permission owners may request up to a max of three eggs per breeding so long as each owner is getting an egg and the third is being given away.
• If your Faekat’s mate is inactive, but you do not wish to break the mating, you are allowed to breed your Faekats but you will only receive one egg. The energy used to create the second egg will be returned to the magic of the world.
• If your Kats mate has been gone for six months or more a Kats owner has a right to break the pairing. Please try to avoid breaking mated pairings if possible but we understand that life happens and it is not fair to a mated Kat to be stuck with an inactive mate. DO NOT ASK FOR THE PERSON TO GIVE YOU THEIR KAT. If you plan on leaving the shop please do your Kat’s mates the courtesy of letting the owner know.
• Please be respectful when looking for a breeding partner. Don't beg, guilt trip, harass or otherwise attempt to coerce someone into breeding/mating their pet with/to yours or giving a baby from their pet to you.
• Owners are only allowed five breedings a month.
• Eggs are one week to baby stage and two weeks to adult stage (Please understand that colorists have real lives and may not be able to drop babies on the day. If you have concerns please reach out to Management).
• Your Faekat MUST be an adult for two weeks before they can breed and take a mate.
• Kats who have bred cannot breed again until one month has passed from time their eggs are dropped officially.
• You cannot custom into a family line of Faekats without the other owner's permission.
• You cannot get edited babies with unedited parents, unless using the service of a demi-goddess of fertility or one of the potions below. Potion edits will be random.
• Make sure to obtain a breeding permission post before trying for a breeding.
• If your Kat has unique lines you must inform colorists what the base race is for the Kat in question as the babies will default to said race. Babies do not come out on unique line art.
