I think I'll make a small flaffle based on these colors to be used in the future.

Also, elven, if I may be so bold I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa sad What's wrong with him? My grandma isn't doing too good either right now. Tumor on her kidney + kidney infection. We still don't know what they're gonna do. She has an appointment with the oncologist today so I guess we'll see what new news they'll have for us
I do hope things can progress as smoothly as they can. Loved ones doing poorly is never any fun. .__.

Well, he started getting really sick about a month ago so my grandma took him to the hospital and they admitted him in right away. He was starting to get better so they put him in rehab and the people there were horrible. My grandma got 21 pages of things they did to him. And they never checked his blood levels, so they overdosed him on potassium. So his kidneys started shutting down, so they put him back in ICU, but now all his systems are shutting down. He's too fragile to do anything now and he has a DNR on his will, so basically we're just waiting it out. They say that he can go at any time now.

One thing I've always found sad is that everyone remembers when my uncle died. They remember what he use to do and how he use to love us kids and buy us shoes, if nothing more. I was only like...2 or 3 when he died, so I don't remember any of it, but I wish I could. I just have to sit and listen to the stories about how good a man he was and what happened during his life n such and piece it together for myself

Oh gosh I'm so sorry to hear that. That's one reason why I hate hospitals. I've seen the things they've done (at least to the hospital we normally take my grandma to) when my grandma was in that I thought was stupid or otherwise didn't like. One night they put her dinner on top of the trash/waste bins and not on her food table. The person who came to pick it up (who said she delivered it) said "I didn't wanna wake her up. Was it cold?" She was either stupid or didn't have enough understanding of the english language to understand me saying, "It wasn't that it was cold. You just put it on top of the trash bin and not on her little table where it's supposed to go". I know she didn't understand because her response was "I'll wake her up next time" neutral Another thing was my grandma had to go to the bathroom. The nurses wanted to help her because she was still a bit weak at the time. She waited like 5 mins but couldn't wait anymore. Luckily my mom was there and helped her into the bathroom. The nurse put a new robe on the chair and said "I'll help her dress in just a minute." She waited half an hour and NOBODY ever showed up. My mom helped her put on the new robe. When she was in there once before, I know she had trouble going to the bathroom so they gave her stuff to help her go. Well after awhile, she really had to go. The nurse was nowhere to be seen. My mom walked out of the room and looked for a nurse. She found one but it was a bit too late, my grandma had a little accident from waiting so long. The nurse bitched out my mom and said "YOU NEED TO BE THERE WITH HER, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT" blah blah blah. I was just like "wtf its YOUR responsibility as a nurse to look after your patients"
That is all terrifying. T_____T

Oh geez. That's one of the things that happened to him too. He had to go and the nurse didn't come. They kept him waiting so long he soiled the bed, then had to sit in it til someone came.
He also got a bedsore on his side from the neglect there.

-____- I hate hospitals when they do stuff like that. Though I will say that when she went up to Stanford hospital for her heart, they treated her so good there. They treated her so nicely. Never had any problems
That is all so horrible.

What's even more horrible is that yeah we were there to speak up for my grandma, to point out the wrong they were doing and to make sure they fix it (even though I don't think they ever really did sweatdrop ) Alot of the people in that hospital (even from what the nurses said) don't get any visitors at all. Who's going to speak up for them when something's wrong? sad They don't have anybody and it always made me sad to think of that.
