yea...that's why i want to get rid of my old job. the Upper Managment HATES me cause i am a girl and i know what i am doing. Since its a videogame store they are like 'omg a girl...she cant play games, wtf!' and they want me gone

Okay the 'gamers can be guys only' bias makes me go RAWR. Its like, if you dont have big boobs they wont hire you or some s**t <<; *sighs and knows a friend with a similar problem* I kinda pride myself in being somewhat of a 'girl gamer' and everyone's always like 'you're a girl! you cant play games... etc etc' XD; I hate stereotypes.

the OLD management loved me to f-ing death. I got hired cause i walked in, spent an hour talking games with the boss, then asked for a application. He hired me before he even looked at the application. The regulars at the store love me cause they know i play games and always ask me what came out that i think is good.

but the new bosses? They hate me. *pats her game collection* I think they are afraid that i know more than them

._. Did the older bosses get like relocated or something? My ex works at a game store as the assistant manager and they love him too cause he's very outgoing XD; But they treat me and my game l337ness like I'm some sort of alien.

yea kinda. EB Games got bought out by GameStop, the EB people think i am wondergirl, the GameStop people think i am like the spawn of satan and want to get rid of me. So i am looking for a new job cause i cant stand being looked at like that evey time the DM is in the store (and he stops in like once a week)

yes...Hatter has lots of games....not as many as she wants but lots *needs to get job again so she can pick up Altelier Iris2 and be a happy person*

i have um.. a few systems >.> two ps1's, two ps2's, a gamecube, n64, xbox, gameboy color, advance (the folding one, not the chunky one) DS, erm... wel, ok, maybe not that many systems..

and i highly doubt i have even fifty games.

but i still get weird looks when i burst into tirades on various final fantasy titles and such. especially cause a lot of the people i am talking to are guys, and they are all 'are you sure you're a girl? since when do girls like video games? shouldn't you be like, washing your hair or picking out a new dress of something?'

and then i kicked him.
