RT is probably still one of my favorite computer games. I might bring it back to school with me to play during class...

Of what, you ask? Why the answer is quite simple. You are researching crowd dynamics, economics, and game design.


Yes, I think of s**t to justify everything.

I draw during class. My classes tend to be things like "Artificial Intelligence" and "Machine Architecture."

My classes are like Introduction to Theatre and Introduction to Theatre Crafts.

The first of which hardly even REFERS to the design aspect of theatre, unless by force, really... But two people got caught playing games on their laptops during class. It was funny.

In my classes...every single person has a laptop (theirs) in front of them, on, and doing things on it.

The relevance of what people are doing on their laptops vary. I tend to close mine and pull out a drawing pad, if the teacher leaves the lights on. If the lights are off, I search the interwebs in between my paying attention. biggrin

xD Oooh. Yeah, in high school, you couldn't bring crap to school, they'd take it from you. their excuse was "Somebody will steal it." and I always wanted to say "Hey, yeah. YOU just stole it. I'd like to talk to my lawyer, please."
And I'd never bring my laptop to classes now. NOW the classes actually MATTER.

Well, I use my laptop for stuff in class, too. I goof around in Intro to Theatre because honestly, it's not relevent, and because nothing in the class discussions is important to our grades - it's just discussing the play we already wrote a paper on.

I also used it in my intro to design class when my teacher was giving comment on other people's designs, just cause almost 2 hours of that is quite dry, especially since my commenting sessions usually lasted under 10 minutes, and other people's could go on for 20+.

In theory, there's wireless net in every classroom at my school. But...it is a terrible wireless. Painful, really.

It's quite sad, especially considering almost no classes give out paper. They have us get things off the wireless. You'd think the school would be able to have a decent WiFi up for that. xp
