Story




You find yourself in front of a mansion, surrounded by many large trees and bushes that dot the area. In front of the mansion there is a modest garden full off all kinds of colorful flowers, some which you have no idea what they are. Curious as to whom would live in a place like this, you walk towards the front door and ring the doorbell. A small old lady answers the door.
"Ah, hello there!" the old lady smiles at you. "Would you like to come in and have some tea and cookies?"
The offer confuses you, as you have no idea whom this lady is or why she is inviting you into her house. But you do not want to be rude, so you enter.
Once inside, you can see that it is a small room, contrary to what the place looks like outside. You sit down in a chair by a table, and wait for the old lady to return. When she does, she is carrying a small tray of home-baked cookies, and two cups of tea. As you begin to drink, you notice that there is something off about this place. There is an energy in the air, making the hair on your arms stand.
"I do hope you like the cookies, I baked them just this morning" The old lady speaks up again. You begin to make small talk with her, thanking her for the tea, asking about whom she is and what she does. You eventually find out this mansion has been in her family for generations, and that she is a great lover of animals, especially cats.
It is now that she sets her own cup of tea down and then looks at you, as if she is bursting to say something. "....I was wondering, would you be interested in taking care of some...kittens, for me? It's just... I have so many, and I have been looking for a kind person, that would help take some of them off my hands, and give them a good home."
The sudden question puts you off guard, as you did not notice or hear any animals before, when you are startled to see a small kitten sitting in the old lady's lap. This is strange, as you never saw it before, but before you can enquire the old lady stands up, the small animal in her arms, and holds out the animal for you to take. You look at the animal in her arms for a few seconds, before you carefully pick up the kitten. It is now you realize that the energy you felt before is strongest around this cat.
The old lady now beams at you. "I do hope you two become good friends".

Rules





1. Since each cat is unique, I have to draw each one up, therefore it may take some time for me to do so, depending on what is happening. Please be patient.
2. If I give a person a free pet, it doesn’t mean you are entitled to one. So don’t ask for one.
3. If you are unsuccessful in winning a pet, don’t whine about it. There will be other chances to win one.

Q. Is each pet customized?
A. Unless the cat was purchased through a custom, each pose is random

Q. How do I get one?
A. Flatsales, raffles, auctions, events, Customs...and whatever else I think of

Q. Do you do pet trades?
A. Ahuh, however I can’t guarantee I’ll accept a pet trade offer, please don’t hesitate to ask

Q. How long does it take them to grow up
A. the full process should take around a few weeks to a month or less, depending on how busy I am

Stages







Box: this is the starting stage. Your kitten is inside the box, all tucked up and snug in warm blankets. They won’t come out of the box for a few days, as their eyes are still closed and they are very vulnerable

Kitten: now you cat has emerged and is quite busy looking adorable and getting into mischief. Their eyes are open, but it would be best to keep an eye on them since they are prone to falling over and looking like food for other animals.

Adult: Yay! Your cat is an adult now! Its quite independent, and is able to harness its magical abilities now.

Species





Normal: This is your average cat, as far as average can be. They're also the most common. Their magical abilities include teleporting within a short distance (around 10 meters or so), detecting other sources of magic, and making little balls of light.

Elemental: Not as easy to find, but these cats have magic’s that cater more to the elements. As such, they are able to manipulate the element they most represent. The elementals are as such:
- Earth: These resemble the unicorns of legend, with a horn on their foreheads and their back legs converted into hooves. They're able to render themselves invisible, or give you a nasty poke.
- Fire: Able to light or put out small flames, these cats can be mistaken for the neko-mata of legend, since their tails are split down the middle.
- Water: With fins on their tail and running along their back. They make excellent swimmers, and are also able to generate small rain clouds.


Winged: prized for their unique abilities, these cats are very hard to find, but are usually more powerful. They are grouped as follows;
Light: With feathered wings, they are able to fly with ease. They specialize in healing
Dark: Their wings resemble that of a bat's, and are masters of manipulating the shadows
Faerie: These guys are slightly smaller normal, with wings that are pixie like but sturdy enough to keep them in flight. Their magic is used to help plants to grow faster, or germinate seeds.

Cosplay: Perhaps the weirdest of the species, these cats take after a character, usually wearing the same clothes and acting in the same manner. Their magic is also able to mimic the characters abilities, but not to the same strengths. (for example, a Lina inverse cosplay could at most....blow up a house with her dragon slave attack)

RP setting





- Most things will happen around the mansion where the old lady is. Chances are you wont see much of her, but she does keep a well stocked fridge with cookies and a cupboard full of tea.
- The cats look and act for the most part like normal household cats; They like to roam exploring, they communicate with other cats through meowing and hissing, and they like clawing things. Usually expensive furniture.
- They are quite intelligent, understanding what people say and the objects that they use.
- Unfortunately, they cannot speak the human language,

1. Mansion: A very large building, with many rooms to explore. Includes a attic and a basement
2. Bushes: Scattered around the area are many bushes, some with edible berries on them too!
3. The deep forest: This is a large forest that is largely un-explored. The more adventurous cats like to parade around here, but most don’t go in too far...
4. The pond: For the cats who like to get wet

Familiars





The forest that is located behind the mansion is a very special forest, not only for it's size, but for what it contains inside. For this is where a cat may be able to find a pet of it's own. Or, maybe it just wants to test it's hunting skills? However, a cat is not allowed to go in by itself, for there are other horrors inside the forest that would find a lone cat a very tempting target.

To prevent this, every so often a group of cats will form for a expedition to venture into the forest, to see if there is anything for them to hunt.
