I've heard that the movie follows the book pretty well, but moves slowly which is why people don't like it.

The beginning of the book is really slow, but things get really, REALLY interesting around chapter 55! xd

Heh, there were these people standing outside our movie theater protesting it when I went danceing with a couple of my friends.
We were passing them to go have dinner and about an hour later when we came back to help our friend pick out an anniversery gift for his girlfriend they were gone!
His comment: That had to be the shortest protest I've ever seen.

I'm seeing it tonight with my boyfriend.

All I remember of the book was the basic plot and that it was a great book.

Even my mother and grandmother (very religious Christians) thought the book was good.
