exclaim The shop will be undergoing a revamp, mostly organization, in the next few weeks. I highly recommend that anyone direct linking quickly save the image(s) to their own server so it's not accidentally lost. In the coming weeks you will see some changes here in the shop thread, the guild and PB.

I'm planning on a grand reopening in the beginning of November and I am still undecided about hiring. (If any past colorists/staff are interested in working at Artemis' Glade again then feel free to pm my main.)

Here's hoping that all will go well and the shop will be back to it's full potential! Thanks and I hope to see everyone in the thread real soon. :3

FAQ/Rules

Rules
- Respect all people within in this thread, not only the workers.
- Do not steal the lineart or shop graphics.
- No begging, whining, or similar behavior.
- No "I lEiK U PLZ giVE me 1 oF Dem!!!!111" Kind of talking. Meaning, no chatspeak or "l33t speak," whichever you prefer to call it.
- All payment must go to the mule in pure gold (exceptions for auctions)
- Payment is due within 24 hours of receiving a pet. Otherwise it will be re-homed. (Negotiable if talked about to the colorist of the pet)
- Follow the staff's rules for naming, custom requirements, etc.
- Staff's/owner's rules are final, please do not argue with them.
- Enjoy the shop and the pets!

-Please note that anyone found breaking these rules will either be graylisted or blacklisted, and we don't want that now do we?


F.A.Q.

- How do I get a pet from here?
A flatsale, flaffle, auction, raffle, or giveaway. This shop is going to have a bunch of events, so there are limitless opportunities.

- But I want a pet NOW!
This is a question? Uhm, sorry. But unless customs are opened, you have to wait? Plus that attitude isn't very nice. =(

- How long does it take for a pet to grow?
That depends on your activity in the shop. If you're very active in the shop (or roleplaying) your pet will usually grow quicker.

- Are these pets roleplay required?
No, they are not. But of course, roleplaying is always encouraged and will lead to benefits.

- How much does a pet cost around here?
Depends on the event, but the basic FS price is 4k.

- Can I PLEEEEEASE have one?
Sure, you just have to win/buy one. =) Begging is not tolerated here.

- Can I sell my pet to someone else?
You can GIVE your pet to someone else, but no, you may not sell it for a profit.

The story is under construction, so things may be changed, but this is the basic concept we have so far.

Artemis is the Goddess of the Hunt and Animals and prides her abilities as such. In the time of the gods, people gave offerings and dedicated their abilities and talents to earning the praise of those on Olympus. And sometimes, the Olympians would honor those who they felt were doing their duties well. For those who found favor with Artemis, she granted them a swift companion in these Chipmunks. Smart, yet also wily in their ways, Artemis' companions would help to look over and assist the chosen humans who had found favor in Artemis' eyes.

Yet, Artemis chooses her chosen humans with care, appearing before them in many guises. An old begger woman, a young child, an athletic lass; she kept in disguise and would offer them the familiar as a thanks for their deeds before vanishing back into the world. In fact, some say that the woman who runs the small shop and her associates are chosen assistants of Artemis herself, always looking for the next possibly recipient of her gifts...

The story concept is credited to Strawberry Mints and Thornless Rose.

(Please note this is not meant to be an exact map of Ancient Greece, we edited it to fit the shop since it is loosely based on Greek Mythology)

Delos: Artemis' Birthplace, holds her largest following. Island of creation/blessing. Visiting the Oracle on Delos almost guarantees a blessing from Artemis. Known as the Sacred Island.
Delphi: Another Sacred land. Delphi is most known for is powerful Oracle, who's God is Apollo. Sometimes a blessing may sprout from this Oracle if the bond is strong enough.
Forest of Artemis: The forest surrounding Mount Olympus. Known for its many protectors who follow Artemis. Do not venture in here if your plans are vile, this is a holy forest.
Knossos: A secret beast resides in this area, only the most brave and toughest venture across the seas to face it.
Ithaca: Small island on the western coast of Greece. Known for their Festival of Odysseus.
Olympus: (Mount) Olympus, the home of the Gods. Zeus, Artemis' father, the father of all Gods resides here. Only the bravest souls take the voyage to Mt. Olympus, as it is a very cold and treacherous journey.
Sparta: Another land that worships Artemis. Known for their ferocity and battling skills.
Thebes: One of the richest cities in Greece, known for its many kings and powerful individuals.

Acorn
You've received an acorn from Artemis! Congratulations. You need to watch over it carefully to make sure that your acorn doesn't die! Artemis would not be pleased by this. Acorns are stationary and therefore cannot be RPed, unless RPed from the point of an owner.

Child/Youth
Your acorn has hatched into a lovely child! Energetic and rambunctious, young chipmunks love exploring. Their duties to you are not yet defined, and therefore spend more time playing rather than working.

Adult
Your chipmunk has finally reached adulthood. Their duties are now defined and live to serve and protect you. Of course, there always are those that go astray...

- Flatsales cost 4K for all (unless otherwise specified)
- One pet per person per flatsale. You may win one for yourself or give it away. If you choose to give it away, that person may not have won a pet from the same FS.
- You can proxy but it counts as a slot for you (unless the rules specify otherwise during the specific flatsale)
